Oh my, now you’ve put me in a quandary 😁 I would like to add to my 15 in 1 and get the maxi pro health grill. Now it’s even cheaper and easier to justify 😬

Good to know that the discount code NINJAWADDEC works on other Ninja items too (y)

I've also cancelled Amazon and ordered direct from NinjaKitchen.
I'm hoping all goes smoothly as their shop & customer service reviews are less than complimentary.

Just did the water test . Both Amanda and myself jumped a foot 😂 did make a mistake though didn't turn knob to quick release after half an hour we started all over again and it worked all fine . Was hoping to make a cake in it today but don't think my nerves can take much more today 😂

Using my air fryer today to re heat a pie I had made also baked potatoes that have been in mrD for a few hours which will go in air fryer to Crispen skin . Veg being steamed on log burner . Roll on when I can use the beast to do all this 👍

Well cooked my first cake in it today used the steam/bake setting for 25 mins had to put it back on the bake setting for 10mins . Not the best looking cake I have cooked , tastes ok but think I'm trying to run before I can walk with the ninja 🤣 I shall keep looking for a better recipe and method using the ninja . Anyone had good success with cakes ?

First time plugged in this evening.
Aldi 1.8kg chicken, some rub ontop
Inserted temperature probe.
Dialed up steam roast... 53 mins later

A little charred ontop (why?) but OMG, so tender, so juicy, so tasty.
Utter magic
...and I'm stuffed 😁.

Yup, perhaps too long or too hot. I am still learning having only had it a few weeks and have been very impressed. I have had the best crispy chicken, the best crispy pork, in half the time of a conventional fan oven and better. Crispy frozen chicken wings and the like just superb. Corn on the Cob another delight. Heavy old lump though!

Take no notice of him, it looks perfect!...... and who does he think he's calling a 'Heavy old Lump'???

Don't have any choice in the matter... all controlled on the Steam Roast Chicken setting & probe...

However, whilst washing up, I noticed I have another lower rack... I suspect the extra couple of centimetres explains the black.

Interesting. I have the 14 without probe and can vary the heat and time as I see fit. My instructions for a roast chicken in the booklet were Steam Airfry in the 'cook crisp basket' so perhaps lower down, 180C for 45-55mins and was pretty much perfect but just gave it a little more to crisp it up a tad!

Obviously it's possible to do it manually as you suggest but the 15in1 comes with a probe and preset programmes so it cooks until internal temp was 75C
I'm sure I could do it without the probe as you suggest.
But it tasted wonderful... I'm not too bothered about a bit of blackened skin

Tomorrow's playtime testing is Roast Beef by the "dehydration method"

Bored stiff with lockdowns and other stuff.. :frowny:

So ordered one of these direct from Ninja uk....

What a superb bit of kit.... Supposed to be able to take it camping and in an RV/Motorhome....

But a bit too big and HEAVY for that...

It does what it say`s on the label, and more...

My first attempt at cooking a meal in under 20 mins and only one pot to wash up.. (Had to do pea`s in microwave as I forgot to put them in...

I have even cooked sponge cake and other things..... It`s so easy... (Once you get used to it..):giggler:

Anyone else got one or got any tips..????
We use one in our van , we cooked a roast beef dinner in our van would not be without it.

Sounds exotic, what was your address again?

(Sorry to ask but the last PM must have gone adrift somewhere?)

EDIT: Hang on...... the 'dehydration method' sounds as if the joint will get smaller....are you sure that's what you want????

Apparently not.
Perhaps it should be better called 'ultra ultra slow cooking'
We shall see.
I'm going for "medium rare", so still quite pink inside.
Lot's of advice on the Ninja FB group

I'll not grumble with Medium Rare!

Good to see that those who ordered direct from Ninja with the discount code got their cookers quickly (y) Can't find any confirmation of this on their website but have read online that if buying direct from Ninja & registering your product online some models get 2 year instead of 1 year guarantee? Might be worth those who have bought these checking the paperwork that came with the Ninja product & registering online?

I have the dual ninja air fryer, and I love it. Used it in our MoHo at a rallycross meeting to heat up 8 meat pies for the pit crew dinner, sausages and bacon for breakfast, chips and a couple of other bits. It is large and bulky, but it travelled well under the table (the dog's bed was on top of the table!😁) and we only used it on a mains hook-up but it will be a regular this year at race meetings.

Beef final:

Perhaps a little more 'medium' than would be my choice.
But very tender and very tasty.

Temperature went up by 1° over the hour resting, so continued to cook.

Overall, lost about 25% of uncooked weight.
