Hi, I am awaiting a new Adria PVC which should have been here last October but keeps on getting put back on a monthly basis. Now end of June and I don’t believe it will come then if I’m honest. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it finally arrived in 2023!

Trying to get any information of the true delay situation from the manufacturers, let alone information that you can trust to be correct and up to date, I am finding impossible. Nothing on the news for Europe but some in America Re shifts being closed at factories there from 2 to 1 a day, but that is about Stellantis car plants I believe.

The delays all appear to revolve around Stellantis production in Italy at their Sevel plant but still none the wiser as to specifically why. Saying the Pandemic repeatedly does not do it for me now.

I would just like to get some honest understanding of why the monthly delays continue and I think all Fiat based manufacturers are pretty much the same.

I wanted to start this Thread for comments from anyone who has got confirmed news or information, rather than rumours and speculation, although if my experiences are the same as others no one will be able to confidently add an update, but here goes 👍🏻

Regards in advance if anyone can add anything

We are expecting a call on Monday once they have given it the initial once over to discuss timings and workshop time for the awning and solar install but looking to get it on the road so we can use it over the Goodwood weekend. Will add pics on collection. This will be the longest month of the 23!

Congratulations - I assume Manual?

Our price promise will continue as long as required, but we are close to giving up and spending another £35k on a new Mercedes based Hymer. Difficult situation waiting near 18 months for your order whilst prices increase and then you end up locking into those elevated prices.

I am not sure I want to go any where near Fiat now.

Auto which is was a big contributor to the delay. Yes we were contemplating a used vehicle but it would have been a big compromise on what we wanted and cost more. Also considered buying a new MAN and self building but we're not quite ready for a PVC with all the kayakI g and mtb gear we carry.Good luck. They are now coming through more regularly.

Today we have finally given up and cancelled our Feb 21 Hymer order and spent quite a bit more dosh for a new MLT 580 on a Mercedes.... in stock.

I feel betrayed by Fiat, they have clearly caused long term damage to their company with Convertors turning to Mercedes, Volkswagen and Ford as a result of their unprofessional behaviour.

We can now at last get back to the lifestyle we love.

Massive shame ...ours has been built and should be with us in a couple of weeks after 16-17 months or so.
Also from the Hymer stable ( Carado )

Fair play to you but there does come a time when you just have to draw a line and move on.I totally agree with you regarding Fiat but the industry has been its own worse enemy by being too reliant on a critical element of its supply chain while not being as important to Fiat themselves.Imbalanced relationships rarely last.Enjoy your new vehicle.

After months of ups and downs we finally got the news that our van is built and is finally in the UK. We are on the monthly delay schedule, ordered a Pilote 696D in Sept 22 for delivery in April which became May, May into June, then June became end of July (Week 30) and no news, another 3 months then the season is pretty much over for us.

However, we did assume that this year would be a write off and if it came early then it would be a bonus, we shall see what happens.

We were considering this with our April 21 order - I just don’t know what’s best to do at this point. At least you can move on with your life and put the terrible experience behind you.

True, it´s the fact that Madame has water for blood and doesn´t like anywhere under 25 C and my wallet doesn´t like the idea of paying for a full set of winter tyres and wheels.......
That being said, if the MH arrives then Christmas and New Year in Spain sounds good and I will bite the bullet...

And an update, the MH looks to be on its way according to the dealer, could be this week, a definite maybe rather than a possible maybe.......

Did exactly this in Feb this year. Waited for over 18 months for the new order, nothing materialised, kept getting shoved back by FIAT. Bit the bullet and paid a considerable sum more for another vehicle from dealer stock that met our needs plus some but we are now enjoying ourselves again. It is very frustrating and I sympathise with everyone that's still waiting.

I can offer another flicker of success. Our Hymer (Ducato & Auto) arrived in Somerset for mid July with the Hymer construction complete, but awaiting two Fiat 'cockpit' parts, which will be delivered to the UK. We have actually been inside it and await final confirmation for receipt in September. Order Date: 26 Sep 2021.

If you had got it a month or so from ordering, it would now be over 2 years old. If you can find a great example just 2 years old, where owners have done the snagging, added extras and so on, it would be putting you where you wanted to be in the first place.
I know it’s not as simple as that though, you have a lot of time, emotion and cost invested in this MH.
It is a difficult decision.

Fiat parts were N/S door curtain frame and associated fittings, so nothing that might stop receipt, if pushed!!!! We are not too far from the agent for a revisit.

Well we have just been informed that our van is sitting ready in the UK for collection .....But we can't collect because of "delivery handover" slot issues , ( I suppose a shortage of time/staff re handover schedule and a glut of new forecourt stock) until September , I have other issues re my schedule that will need to be wiggled and jiggled
but after 17-18 months this bunny is very HAPPY :dance2::drinks:

26 months and 21 days since we ordered our Adria Twin Supreme 640 SGX, it arrived with our dealer this morning and we were straight into the car for the 2.5hr journey to have a look!

Nice.Still waiting for ours to give it an initial check over and agree a collection date.As we intend holding it for a good few years and the price has already risen 20%, I was thinking of collecting it immediately and not worrying about a new plate but that thinking disappearing with every day

I really hope yours comes soon, its incredibly depressing waiting for a van and seeing others who ordered later getting theirs earlier. A family member ordered an Adria Twin Supreme in 5 months after us and had hers last week.
We're not waiting for the next year plate, just want to get it and start using it.

My mate phoned up Go European this morning to check on delivery of his Compactline was originally told not before 2024. Now been told March/April.

But what was interesting they told him another customer who's delivery had gone out to October, well it came in last month. So perhaps there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Expedition Grey, its a solid colour rather than metallic. We changed it from Lanzarote Grey which we decided was too dark for us.
Yes I thought it may be. We ordered metallic silver then had to change to a solid so chose that but in the end we got the silver. I thought it would look nicer than white and a whole lot better than the new Lanzarote grey.

We are thinking about a new van in 2025 so starting to look now for delivery then.

Progress, have a VIN number and a definite maybe delivery date of 28th August, having ordered on 9th Sept last year that's just on 12 months................and had to pay the invoice today 😱, the van papers should arrive before long and we can register before collection, hopefully our previous reg number is still available......

You've paid for the vehicle before you've actually seen it?
