Hi, I am awaiting a new Adria PVC which should have been here last October but keeps on getting put back on a monthly basis. Now end of June and I don’t believe it will come then if I’m honest. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it finally arrived in 2023!

Trying to get any information of the true delay situation from the manufacturers, let alone information that you can trust to be correct and up to date, I am finding impossible. Nothing on the news for Europe but some in America Re shifts being closed at factories there from 2 to 1 a day, but that is about Stellantis car plants I believe.

The delays all appear to revolve around Stellantis production in Italy at their Sevel plant but still none the wiser as to specifically why. Saying the Pandemic repeatedly does not do it for me now.

I would just like to get some honest understanding of why the monthly delays continue and I think all Fiat based manufacturers are pretty much the same.

I wanted to start this Thread for comments from anyone who has got confirmed news or information, rather than rumours and speculation, although if my experiences are the same as others no one will be able to confidently add an update, but here goes 👍🏻

Regards in advance if anyone can add anything

Now we have the new Pilote P696 and had a test run......Picked it up on Friday with 10km on the clock, it now has 780, the test run was to Camping Sobec near Bled in Slovenia, it´s one of our go to places outside of school hols, this will be my last post in this thread, more to come in other threads.

For info. we ordered on Sept 9th 2022 and picked up on Sept 1st 2023, it would have been 5 weeks earlier but we hit the French holidays and the Caravan Salon.....
6.96m on a 140 Ducato with 9 speed auto box, 3500kg by choice, have a couple of snags but all is in hand, herself is well happy which is what matters...

Thanks to the threadies for the positive comments and good luck to those still waiting for their pride and joy...

Our Pilote P696D is ready but won´t be delivered for another 2 weeks because the French (Bless their little yellow jackets ) are all on holiday, good job it´s too wet/hot/school hols at the moment.
We have just had to wait for our new Florium too because they were on holiday, so frustrating, but we have it now so all good.

Did you sell the Malibu OK?
Yes thanks Brownhills bought it, even came to Malvern to Collect it, offered to come to a port and collect but I had left the silly sliding wall in Uk. Gave us what they promised on the phone, we were happy 😊 we have silver screen to sell or swap 😆 hope you get your van soon. On the way to Dieppe now, we left Faye in Uk as we flew to Bordeaux, any ideas off a stopover when we get off ferry at 10pm. I have to be in Birmingham by 12 lunchtime on Wednesday though, so don’t mind getting a few miles done xx

Went to see the dealer today as I had other business over there (130km). And now it's time to update the signature once again and so it will be at least 3 years wait. The original pricing (price list starting 7/2020) still stands even if the chassis is new (the 'new' Ducato) and also the interior & tech is very much new for 2023. Last time I checked the current price is over 20k€ more than when ordered. Still, would be nice to get it some day.

We've just heard the first delay on our A class Malibu. Construction has moved from end Sept to December. Ordered at the show last October.

Gutted for you. We’re also on the cusp of a 3 year wait. Supposedly arriving October which will be 27 months. Not holding out much hope.

Sorry to hear you chaps have been waiting over 2 years already but great to hear a lot are coming through, including autos. We are just about to join the disgruntled band of Funsters who have been waiting over 2 years. Hopefully not much longer now. I assume we will still get the spec we ordered rather than the latest spec, if they still have the 'old' parts that is.

Half expected to get the latest spec and the other half of me a compromised spec but got exactly what we ordered including the 160bhp engine so happy with that.

I can't believe these delays are not only continuing but getting longer! I had a15 month wait but that included covid lockdowns! I assumed deliveries had eased a long time back! Why have deliveries not improved?

Stelantis are a shambles of a business and I expect prioritising more important core business customers over the relatively minor (and in their case) diminishing leisure market. My dealer and converter has little warning of when chassis were being made available to them.

Challenge what? Sorry Mr H B but we've decided to cancel your order with us, we are very sorry for any inconvenience etc etc but here is your deposit back. Are you saying you can take them.to Court to force them to build your van, no doubt there are clauses in the contract however disappointing news this is.

But Lenny HB can you clarify who cancelled dealer or carthago and what reason please.

Its a contract which obligates both parties to certain performance expectations but irrespective of how fair and reasonable the Conditions of Contract may or may not be, it would be a nightmare, stressful and expensive to challenge so just a really unfortunate situation to be in.

Stellantis will not be fretting over this decision. They are not arsed about the Moho market. All they want to do is build red, white & blue vans, keep em simple and to a Bobby basic spec and have less warranty issues / claims and probably make just as much money. Oh and to take up the spare production capacity they'll stick some Toyota badges on them too.

Really sorry to here that you’ve been cancelled, Lenny, must be gutted. Have you had any further info? Just sold ours, so hoping our Adria Twin due in November is still ok!
