Hi, I am awaiting a new Adria PVC which should have been here last October but keeps on getting put back on a monthly basis. Now end of June and I don’t believe it will come then if I’m honest. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it finally arrived in 2023!

Trying to get any information of the true delay situation from the manufacturers, let alone information that you can trust to be correct and up to date, I am finding impossible. Nothing on the news for Europe but some in America Re shifts being closed at factories there from 2 to 1 a day, but that is about Stellantis car plants I believe.

The delays all appear to revolve around Stellantis production in Italy at their Sevel plant but still none the wiser as to specifically why. Saying the Pandemic repeatedly does not do it for me now.

I would just like to get some honest understanding of why the monthly delays continue and I think all Fiat based manufacturers are pretty much the same.

I wanted to start this Thread for comments from anyone who has got confirmed news or information, rather than rumours and speculation, although if my experiences are the same as others no one will be able to confidently add an update, but here goes 👍🏻

Regards in advance if anyone can add anything

PIA I've been driving LHD vans for 10 years, struggling with it but didn't want to wait another year or pay 2024 prices.

Just grab one of these from Argos or Amazon for the ‘wrong side’ and you’ll feel right at home - even has integrated satnav!

I like the seats fabric, looks great. You must want to get on the road! Congratulations! (y)
We were worried about the fabric choice, needn't have it looks great, I wanted leather but someone put there foot down something about money🤣

Well I've finally got a new van picked it up yesterday.
Congratulations. It looks amazing.
I hope you have many happy holidays in it.
If we we changing again the Compactline would be high on our list.
Unfortunately our budget wouldn't stretch to a new one.
Perhaps we could buy this one when you change it in five years. :giggle:

Flipping expensive for a small van, stretched us a bit, only free Aires from now on.🤣
Spent 3k yesterday on electric bits & still need more.

Another notable improvement over my 2019 Ducato is the cruise control, it shows the selected cruising speed and briefly drifts no more than 1 MPH above and below the set figure, unlike the previous one that drifted wildly.
I was looking forward to that but not as good as you say.
Uphill great the 180 engine helps but on a downhill streach the speed rocketed, set at 42 when up to 49 wasn't even a steep hill.

Nice seeing what the cruise is set to & finally an accurate speedo, 59 on satnavs speedo 60 on my last 3 Ducato's it would have been 66 - 68.

Interesting. Perhaps the gearbox for the 180 engine is set to use higher gears?

Yes it will feel strange for a day or so then you won’t notice any difference it’s surprising how quick you adapt.
Finding the pedals really annoying they are further to the left so not in. line with your leg & they are closer together in LHD vans they are much better positioned. I've hit the gas peddle instead of the brake a couple of time lucky not on the road at the time. s

Peddles are bugging me they are offset to the left so the gas peddle is in line with your right foot rather than the brake, I e hit the gas peddle a couple of times instead of the brake. Also they are closer together and I keep catching both peddles at the same time at least the engine doesn't cut out like it does on a Comformatic.

A compromise for RHD I suppose due to the wheel arch on the right but Ive never noticed any cars like that.

Yip. They take a while to get used to every time I get behind the wheel.
