Off up to Scotland, going up as far as Glencoe backdown to Loch lomond, and then onto Dumfries and Galloway

Two more solar panels now fitted to the van… Slim 100w ones to fit in gaps so I now have the full desired potential 445w going to 2 x 100 amp lead based batteries. That should keep the compressor fridge happy!

So now have a single 245w and the two 100s.

The EPever duo mppt controller I currently have it’s a bit big and the van doesn’t have a nice concealed area to put it so I’ll be replacing that with a Victron mppt 100/20 Bluetooth controller for the 245 panel and put all the power into the leisure’s and using my old Votronic mppt duo for the two 100s and split between leisure and starter batts.

I’ve also got a Bluetooth victron shunt and monitor so I can keep a much better view on how much power I actually have available.

Today is starting to wire in said new panels in and tidying up the wiring in the electrics cupboard to resemble something a bit more professional than the current rat’s nest! I have a ratchet crimper arriving and I’m getting a couple of busbars as well…

I have a long weekend coming up at Slapton campsite, no EHU so we can try it all out.

HRH is going in her Velar as she doesn't want to be seen in a cheap MH..............................................(that bit was an attempt at a joke).
Oxon Priory for a beer or more and some solids tonight, maybe.

I think I'm gonna fill up my backpack with some alcoholic beverages, bicycle a few kilometers and sit down by the motorway to watch the life go by.

Off to France and mostly Spain on Sunday for a few weeks.
Really looking forward to it despite being well behind with prep. Rain keeps stopping play so up early tomorrow hoping weather forecast for a dry morning is accurate.

I have this to fit and play with this weekend. - a 12v drain valve so I don't have to scramble underneath or on the floor to empty the grey water. It will fit perfectly in line and in the space available

then a Few beers in the sun in the garden before going to the local for food, beer and a nice bottle of wine in their beer garden.

Got to make the most of warm sunny weather. As it’s as rare as hens teeth here in the north east.
