Birthday weekend for me, so spending three nights in a hotel in Lynmouth, North Devon.
taking the Vw T6, as the day van, so still be in a Van/camper

Boltons ground is now called Toughsheet Stadium. Must get miss pronouced on a regular basis.
BTW, i could see the Toughsheet Stadium from my house (if i was sat on the roof)

It’s still the University of Bolton Stadium until June I think, then we are the Toughsheet. You can see the stadium from leafy Cheshire? For heaven’s sake don’t tell the neighbours, think of the effect on property prices!

Unfortunately, my good lady wife has severe sciatica, had it for over two weeks. So I am substitute shopper, cook, bottle washer, personal carer for showering and general factotum. I hope she returns to full health shortly.

Los Alcazares are for us, celebrating SWMBO's big birthday.
Surprise guests - Daughter, son-in-law & family friend, made her birthday.
We went out for wonderful meal on Friday night, to Little Sicily, joined by Harvey (Carpmart) & Serena, followed by a multitude of cocktails in the Zarcos Cocktail bar. Last night it was Milo's Gastronomica for another excellent meal & more cocktails.
Safe to say SWMBO's had a birthday to remember
We've got another 10 days on the Mar Menor before we wend our way back for Le Tunnel on the 26th.

Barry for 2 nights then work our way up to Aberaeron for 2 nights. Normally do pub stops but one of the daughters and boyfriend are coming and they are staying in the awning. Because we’re on sites I’ll take the Toad.

Beadnell and Seahouses this weekend. Arrived at site an hour ago. Set up and beer is flowing as it’s pissistantly raining, for once

Went past the point yesterday of asking someone to take on the project, which coincided with the point I wished I hadn't started...

I think I’m gonna sleep both days ,this week …. having a new kitchen fitted , new kitchen and bedroom wooden windows fitted , decorator in , MH emptied and readied for hab check ( tmoz ) AND , drain company this morning diagnosed a collapsed drain on my property , wake me up when it’s Monday !
On a plus point we are going to iH on Tuesday to spec our new van !

OH’s birthday tomorrow so off to Alderstead heath for the weekend…we’re supposed to be seeing the wonderful Tony Blackburn’s “Sound of the 60’s“ show but he’s poorly ( tony not OH!) so just a meal out but we have the “All or nothing” show on Friday so all good!

It’s autumn, so we thought we’d head down to Arrowtown, near Queenstown (South Island, NZ) for the Autumn Festival. Photos taken en route from Wanaka to Queenstown, including the Bra Fence at Cardrona and a traffic jam just outside Omarama.
