What are you up to this weekend?

That’s the trouble with living in a house!
We are sitting in the sun people watching, and throwing a ball for Pip.

I had to renew the winter drain-down pipes, (now 15mm instead of 12mm) behind/under the wardrobe, after breaking one of the taps when I closed them and refilled the water system, earlier this year.

What a palaver but better doing it in the :sun: than wait until winter when its cold & damp! :cold:

We are at the municipal camping at Dinan at the start of our month long potter in France. Weather is lovely and Dinan a delightful town.

Called into Quackers for a flying visit the field is looking fab, and I hope it rains a little overnight
Now down in deepest Wiltshire listening to the thunder

We set off from home mid afternoon Wednesday for the overnight Hull - Rotterdam crossing. An easy 100 miles to Hull boarded the boat without delay, lovely evening meal and smooth crossing meant we arrived in Rotterdam refreshed and ready to go.

After approx 50 minutes to disembark and clear customs- no fridge check! - we had an easy 2hr 30 mins drive to Camping Memling in Bruges. Its a great site and although full really quiet. Great day in Bruges today exploring with the weather maintaining high 20s! Another day here tomorrow to celebrate my birthday before heading to Ypres on Sunday for 2 nights.

Good Evening!
For the first time we are actually doing proper ( mostly) motorhoming!
Arrived on site Wednesday evening and booked in until Sunday.
Currently sat outside, first time using the wind out awning, playing scrabble in the sunshine. Three hour walk around the local countryside earlier. The sad reason we can do this? The recent passing of my dad, who needed our constant commitment. Five years of care, making him as comfortable as possible has restricted our lives. We wouldn’t have changed that, we do what is necessary.
Now we just have mum (94) to worry about, but her needs are not as intense. We still will spend tomorrow at hers, gardening, housework etc
So we have a glimpse of the future with our mobile mansion and are happy with that for now!
