Portmerion Motorhome Site for three nights , cycling , walking , going to the gym at a town with too many letters in it 🤣, eating at the a la carte restaurant at Portmerion Hotel and probably having a pamper at the spa ( I’m partial to a pedicure) 💡👍

Have they given you your number yet?

We stayed in the hotel bit nearest the sea. Golf carted up and back to the restaurant in the castle bit (i don't remember names). The food was exceptionally good.
They were still building the MH/caravan site when we were there.
Will give it a try someday, maybe.

Oh you lucky people....
Daughter & SiL visiting Saturday with grandson, so will be busy, hopefully next week or the week after my flat sale will go through then I can pick up my first MH with a bit of luck planning on the Warners meet in Norfolk as my first major run (I'll book in the MHF enclosure).
My son & daughter are going camping in June so I'm hoping I can drop in for my first couple of nights MHing

Just had a mad hour packing.
Absolutely dreading the Man Airport bit tomorrow morning.
Did not realise when i booked it was going to be a bank holiday weekend (should have guessed as there seems to be a bank holiday every other weekend)

Using my Starlink set up for the first time. Ordered 24 May, delivered and set up 26 May. Will still be using the wifi roof aerial and router for transit connection. No more buffering in sites with poor phone network signal. Just need to allocate a storage space for it!

Just had a lovely couple of hours chewing the fat in the sunshine (yes it does come out to play for the north east occasionally 😂😂) with MattR and his family.

Lovely bloke to have a bit crack with along with his wife. A really lovely couple.

Enjoy the rest of your Northumberland break.

Yes we know but try to keep it quiet.
I mean can you imagine what would happen if the southerners were to learn how beautiful it is. Life would be a nightmare 😂😂
The southerners would get lost trying to get here

It was great to meet you and D; so much to chat about, so much left over for our next get together. Lovely weather (isn't it always like that?) and a great afternoon. We're looking forward to finding out more about the NE and will try not to ruin it by telling other southerners how good it is ;) Cheers

We lived in the the Northumberland National Park for about 8 years. What a fantastic and undiscovered part of the world to live. Sshhhh.

thank you kind sir 😂

To be fair though agree so much to chat about for the future. 👍👍

Will let you know how we get on in the dordogne.

As we are between trips it’s time for domestic chores. So far that’s been repair the decking, cut the front hedge back and tomorrow pressure wash the decking. Next outstanding job will be re treat the decking and repair the garden bench.
I can’t get out of these jobs because management has painted the table and chairs from the decking whilst I was away so now recons I need to catch up.
