Just arrived at Adgeston C&CC site on IOW waiting for granddaughters to be dropped off to spend 3 nights with us and it's pouring down :frowny: they're so excited about camping with us  we'll have a lovely time whatever the weather :smiley: Never been on this site before, it is very nice, lots of walking and cycling nearby so weather permitting we'll have lots to do outdoors, otherwise it'll be snuggling down in the van and doing plenty of arty-crafty stuff :smiley: just hoping we get some :sun::sun:at some point because there's an outdoor pool

Hi Sue & Pete @2spritelyislanders
Be care full not to get bogged in as they only have grass pitches, site is next to the stream & the grass quite often gets very soft .
Enjoy your time with G/daughters.

Hi Fidget, yes we worried about boggy pitches but we're on a well drained bit and despite the rain and overcast skies we're having a great time. The girls love swimming and the pool has been well used! Even I've been in!!

Had thought about joining Helen at Quex but have decided to go the Sissinghurst Cricket Club with the CCC London DA. Quex is on for a few weeks so will probably do a weekend or so around 11th Aug for the Broadstairs Folk Festival which we can get to my bus.
