Good news last night, My son called he will be over here for a couple of weeks next month. We are booked to visit him in August so I will have to amend our flights to suit when I get his visit dates.(y)

Village art festival all next week so hanging my Bert Dawes next to sis's Mary Poppins for the mannequin/scarecrow competition. Think I'll frighten the kids.

Just arrived at Jasmin Camping. What a lovely place. This is how much space we have with 4 of 5 pitches occupied. Water within a hose reach, electricity right next to us, and big Sandy beach just half a mile away. @Jim greeted us personally, didn't even send one of his underlings, and made us feel very welcome. @Jim or any other Funsters here, welcome to pop by for a beer later or tomorrow

If not Cornwall, they WILL definitely make an appearance in the Dordogne... heading there after Cornwall.. back mid september !!

Hope you guys well...

Prepping "Holly" for a few weeks away starting Thursday with a couple of nights in Braithwaite Fold, a couple at our daughters in the Cotswolds then on down to Devon for 10 days or so then the same reverse trip.

Just a short weekend trip to Sweethedges Farm, right on the Leicestershire/Rutland border. Only about 13 miles from home but it's lovely, so why not? Friendly owner and lovely tea rooms. I detect a full English breakfast coming on tomorrow morning. We have our best friends coming over to see us on Sunday, so we are booked in for a traditional roast dinner. Will follow it with some birdwatching and photography, then afternoon tea in the MH. This is the life!

The breakfast above (with two slices of toast), a toasted egg sandwich for SHMBO, a cafetière of coffee for two and two nights on the lovely site with EHU came to £44. Excellent value.

Good to meet you a @garjanco , Gary and Janet. Your reg no makes sense now, though I have to say you don't look 55!

We will also plan to comeback to Jasmin and agree that @Jim and Sian made us very welcome. The Grange and Fat Seagull made good stops en route to the beach.
