What are you up to this weekend?

We were at Waldergraves camp site on Mersea island a couple of weekends ago, last weekend we were at Grange Farm, Kings Lynn, both very good sites, this weekend we will be at the Riverside camping park in Ely, we'll let you all know, you all have a great weekend

Had thought about joining Helen at Quex but have decided to go the Sissinghurst Cricket Club with the CCC London DA. Quex is on for a few weeks so will probably do a weekend or so around 11th Aug for the Broadstairs Folk Festival which we can get to my bus.

Change of plan after seeing the weather forecast for the weekend! We've decided to go to Quex after all as there is more to do in the a when the weather is inclement which the forecast is showing. See you there @scousebird later today.

Fly, as only a quick few days; and Algorfa....
Thanks Mickx, the reason I asked was that I am looking at booking a surprise long weekend for my lovely lady and Spain is the obvious choice. Not been to your part before but thinking about the Valencia area myself which is not too far from Algorfa by the looks of it..(y)

Working then out on the pop around Glasgow in the afternoon, Just finished hard wiring in the lead for the dash cam noticed that I could take out the interior light and feed the charging cable down and through the roof carpet were it meets the windscreen then hardwired the USB socket off the +/- feed to the interior light.

Off to get some sun in Tenerife today, it's was raining all day in Cornwall yesterday and the forecast is not good for the week.

Only booked it all up on Thursday and couldn't get an airport closer so we've got to drive all the way up to Gatwick for a 2pm flight, my sister lives there so we park at her house and she drops us of and will pick us up again in a week so that's a bonus.... apparently it's going to be 40c today over there....:sun: have a good weekend you lot whatever your doing...(y)

Off for a Parkrun......gonna be hanging out of my backside in about an hour !!!!!!

After my MOT retest popped home bit of breaky filled van with supplies and set off. Now sitting at Manor Farm Country Park at Waterside THS hasn't stopped raining yet

Chilling with a glass of wine at pant mawr farm and it's not raining!

Sat at Cayton village caravan park.
Now another rv has parked 2 pitches down.
Feel sorry for the caravan parked between us. :)

Sitting in the sun (now) after a lot of noisy water washing the Hymer last night, we're at the riverside camp site by Littleport, Norfolk, just over the road from the river Great Ouse, fishing yesterday, but I think the fish are vacating too

Sitting in the rain at Burry Harbour, watching the tide go out .

Great spot for £8 per night.

We stayed there about 15 years ago while working at Mildenhall and Lakenheath airbases
A car came of the road and into the river right outside the entrance to the campsite

Nice site pretty quiet, adults only, but I doubt that a car could go in the river now as there's a river bank, probably 15 ft higher than the road, I worked at the Mildenhall airbase in the mid 70's, refurbishing distilled water tanks in the middle of the base, they were using 700 gallons of distilled injected into the afterburners of the B52 to get off the ground, the last knockings of the Vietnam war, aluminium coffins, C130's in, B52's out to America, very sad, 24/7

Another weekend nearly over, today has been a good day with an early start leaving home around 7am and eating breakfast on Southend seafront at 8am. The weather was good with sun and a brisk breeze. We did all the normal things like sitting on the seafront in fact had a few zzz's before visiting Waitrose and a steady drive home for lunch.
