What are you up to this weekend?

Prepping the motorhome for our return to France on Monday, via Channel Tunnel.

Staying in France until end of October and using motorhome to tour from our base.

Lucy, our GSD/Border Collie cross has seen us washing and packing the m/h and is lying by the step "just in case we forget to take her"!

Bon voyage and safe travels!:france:

My brother in law and his latest girlfriend are coming to ours for a sleep over.

If I am under 14st on Friday I can suggest a curry on Saturday night, if I'm not then it's Italian which is not all bad because I like Peroni(y)

Hi.
If it cools down(y):ROFLMAO:. The motor is ready,we are off to Praia de Mira.for the week. Its only just over an hour away, but it ticks all the boxes, wild camping, two sites,Municipal and Orbitur, both very good, the municipal site is on the outskirts of the town,so 3 mins walk? to centre, the Orbitur is close by the wild camping spot,so about 7-8 mins walk. Water, diesel and dump facilities at Intermarche in "Mira town" (About 2-3 miles inland).

what can i say,,,, working again this weekend.

but its my last day on sunday, looking to tour for a while and back in november.

Well for me it's hanging doors and starting on fitting a new kitchen for my beloved, oh the joys of being a carpenter :D. If I get it done in time HWMBO said we can get the wheels rolling on the motorhome to Wales for a month :D2, no incentive there then lol.

It's official, I'm feeling old, almost at crisis point. My parasitic son is 21 on Sunday, it's quite amazing he survived to make it that far. ;)

Guess my weekend will be consumed by birthday related errands. I will just have to drink my way through it and the family meal I'm obliged to attend at some new tarty Japanese place. :)

We are for the tunnel tonight, overnight in Montreuil the head south Saturday for Spain

We can't decide either Pately Bridge or Nayburn Lock both rallies .
We're swaying more to Pately Bridge . Working till 3.30 pm so once I get home we'll decide .
I'm giving out Naked Smoothie samples today ! ( as in the drink " naked " before any smutty stuff :D)

Garden party in Wimbledon on Saturday night then staying over with friends in Teddington.

It's a temporary holiday site , on the show ground . There's around 20 units on ATM . Don't know a soul here, but know Pateley very well .

Off to Sweethedges Farm after work on Friday, staying two nights. It is only a 20 minute drive from home but handy for bird watching at Eyebrook Reservoir and Fineshade Wood. We have been here before for afternoon tea and lunch (which I can recommend) but never stayed on the lovely-looking site before. One of those things I have been meaning to get round to and, at last, we have. Meeting up with an old school friend (we have been mates for 51 years) and his wife. Lunch at the farm, a walk and spot of bird watching and afternoon tea in the motorhome

Here it is if you are tempted www.sweethedgesfarm.moonfruit.com/caravan-site

It's open again? Good to know we use it as often as we can for weekends away perhaps see you there sometime.

Nothing planned yet, it would be a shame to leave this sun drenched south east. We had some thunder with a few spots of rain during the night but old faithful is sitting there in cloud free blue sky's again this morning. 0730hrs and it is already getting warm.
Maybe a barbi on Sunday in the garden.....(y):)
Must hang that washing out.:)
