Going over to Hull tomorrow with fellow members of White Rose Goldwings to take a lady with terminal cancer out for a ride. She visits the Goldwing Light Parade in Scarborough every september but her family don't think she'll make it this year so we have decided to give her and them something to remember.

How lovely ! Safe travels and hope the weather stays good!!

Fixed the winder on the rear roof vent/window. The handle turned but the vent wouldn't do anything. Just managed to get it fixed in time. Big storm coming in. Time to batten down the hatches.

Just got back from helping on a Scout County camp.

Hi @Mikescuba, how did you fix your vent? We have exactly the same problem with ours - the handle still turns but nothing happens. In fact, our handle has come off it's little spindle now.

Wearing ear defenders or even the foam in the ear plugs during the noisy bits may help minimise the after effects of your tinnitus Brian @Brian and Jo .

Ironically you may notice your tinnitus more at first when you put on ear defenders or earplugs, because of the relative quiet, but overall wearing some form of ear protection should help minimise the after effects of exposure to loud noise on your tinnitus

Either way enjoy Silverstone as looks like they can't afford to host the Grand Prix in the future.

Off to Kimmeridge Bay on the Jurassic coast in the morning for a long weekend. Going with a couple of our neighbours (two motorhomes and a caravan, I know mixing with tuggers)
Ten houses down our lane, two of us have motorhomes, one has a caravan and another has a posh trailer tent, not a bad ratio that.
Weather is looking not to bad so a bit of fossil hunting, Corfe castle, Lulworth bay, steam train ride and the tank museum interspersed with wine drinking and BBQing.

That sounds a good trip we've done most of those things before! It's a lovely place to visit.

We're having a couple of nights at Deeside Holiday Park. Reason being that Aberdeen FC have a Europa League qualifier tomorrow night so we decided to park up and stay! OH goes to the game. I take the dogs for a long walk - and hopefully discover a pub in the area :)
