Heading to Tomintoul for a biker's rally. The forecast is for rain the whole weekend but hey, this is Scotland so no surprise there!

It's on the road between Heathfield and Horam, we arrived Saturday about 12.00, about 12:10 3 families of Irish travellers arrived WITH CHILDREN and were let in by one of the softer owners, problems when the other owner returned, as this is an ADULT ONLY site. On this occasion there were too many problems arising from that arrival so we left on Monday and went a mile or two up the road to Horam Manor site.

The runt as we call it should ?? Now be clear, but phone first, mention " bigal"

We're enjoying a night away at Cirencester Park caravan club site hopefully it's nice weather :D
 
Off to a Gin festival in Havant this week end then Monday off on our travels ending up in Venice to meet one of daughters taking a week to get there and a week to get home. :)
 
Going to Heyfield site in Derbyshire. Last time was about 15 yrs ago when we had our tent. We have had caravans since then but because of the narrow access roads they can only accept nothing longer than a motorhome.

720+ mile round trip to Cumbria to visit Mrs Maison's step mum in her nursing home before we return to France until October.

She is now 93 yrs old and going strong, although blind.

Also checking on memorial stone for my Mum and Dad's grave. It was supposed to be installed, and dedicated, during this visit but it appears that the monumental masons have already installed it while we were in France.
 
Just retired from the NHS after 37 years. Off to Calais on Sunday via Dover and then who knows where. Have to be back at end of August for a friends special day, including a Party Bus! A booth in a Pompey nightclub and I hope to be be tucked up with me Ovaltine by 10...,.HELP!!
 
Of to the west country back home week Sunday leaving shortly thats all I have planned .....................I may start a mini travel blog on here

We decide to attend a motor caravaners rally and arrived in Stroud rugby club,meeting All the gang tonight at the club house but had a lovely cycle ride along the cycle path to Nailsworth and then back along the canal path,very enjoyable.
 
Mainly drinking gin in Gothenburg with these two and a couple of others!

Watching rugby and then painting all weekend.

My daughter wants our summer house as a place to chill with her mates and wants it all painted and posh with new furniture.

I did about 4 hours last Sunday putting on undercoat but only finished half. There was paint everywhere - mostly on me

Sleeping. I had a 14 hour working day on Thursday and 16 hours yesterday : 16 and 18 hours respectively if you include the commuting. :( I'm too old for this! Got to watch the Lions against the All Blacks though :)

We caught copious crabs this morning, caught some rays after lunch, walked beneath the cliffs before dinner now going to chill with a beer during sun down.
