Are you getting another or this the end of your travels? :(

Hi Movan wife as dementia so no more but just another chapter in you life will still travel but we bought a caravan in Spain left it there and doing Santander route with car and one night in hotel will still stay on here john

It has been an interesting morning. Heading for Ayletts garden center to pick up a few plants listening to BBC 3 counties radio the JVS show. It consists of a treasure hunt where members of the team who are mobile driving around the three counties have to use clues to find the treasure. Anyway one of the clues was a gift from the Beatles etc etc. and the team were sitting at Aldenham which was only two minutes away when someone phoned in with Bhaktivedanta Manor in answer to the clue. In for a penny in for a pound so we headed for Bhaktivedanta Manoro_O
Just as we were coming out of the manor grounds the BBC car passed us so we turned around parked up and joined in with the manor open day with thousands of hindu worshipers which was great. Hari Krishna and all. The BBC team had to gather some stray singers and sing any George Harrison song which was My Sweet Lord. A really enjoyable couple of hours. Sometimes strange how the day pans out...:D

So sorry to hear of your wife's dementia...life will be different. It's a great idea...there are such lovely places in Spain and the weather is so much more reliable than here in the UK. Your wife will benefit from being in just one place rather than having to cope with the adjustment of constant travel. Enjoy your Spanish breaks.

Currently staying at Folly Farm campsite nr Bourton on the Water, very picturesque and peaceful, but tomorrow I'm going in my car to Windsor championship dog show. :cycle:

Well done you did you do Poole park run? Keep an eye out for Ruth she will be wearing pearls. She will introduce you to everyone.
I did the Upton Park one today but will try Poole Park next weekend. The marshals do a brilliant job and they are so supportive and motivating.

Took the van in at the weekend for service and MOT today. Not had a call yet but checked MOT status online and it's passed. Now we'll be able to get on the road - as soon as we've taxed it!

Off to Wimbledon today, which is the reason we came down to the Abbey Wood CMC site on Sunday for three nights. Mrs SB is very excited as we shall be seeing Roger Federer today, as well as Djokovic and Kerber. As I write this, the sun is streaming in through the sunroof of our motorhome and I can hear the Parakeets in the trees. It's just one of those days when I'm glad to be alive! :dance2:

Who are you? What's a phone? See you : what does that mean? Who am I anyway? I do know I'm off to Wimbledon though because the wife keeps reminding me about every 15 seconds. Now then, tennis : what's that?
