What are you up to this weekend?

Had breakfast in Hemel Hempsted this morning. Hemel where most people are related one way or another is a people watchers paradise. I was earwigging while having breakfast to an invigorating conversation between two girls, one had found this new exercise regime that was going to change her life, it would take three years for her to develop the squat arse that she had always craved for. She even showed her friend photos of this new bum that was going to make so much difference to her life.:)

You will be leaving our beautiful bout of weather that we have been blessed with for the past few weeks. Stay clear of Benidorm unless you have snow chains.....:)

A good friend of my partners is in Australia he phones any time of the day or night normally when he is pissed:D He was in Melbourne for a couple of weeks now he is in Perth also for a couple and returns home on Saturday. He is absolutely smitten with the place, I knew he would be. He fell in love with Melbourne and also likes Perth apart from being chased by a 2mtr brown snake.
We have been to Australia many times and there is nowhere better, love it. Apart from the UK of course...;)

We went to Lyme Regis for the day. A balmy day, bright sunshine, blue sea, blue sky, pink cliffs bathed in sun. 90 minutes from home, and as beautiful as anything we've seen in thousands of miles of continental travel. Lyme Bay really does have its own climate.

Oh yes, and parked in the car park where when we left, it said "NO MOTORHOMES". It should have said that where we went in!

After making screen insulation yesterday and generally puttering around getting to know how things worked in the van we thought we would spend our first night in it in the back yard, are we daft  so grabbed a glass of wine, a teabag and a dvd. Left the heating on low all night, just a slight hum and spent a very comfortable night despite it being 0ºC and a frost outside .
nothing wrong with that e often just sleep in the van in the garden or abut a mile away at one of our wilding spots not daft just fun that what theas whit boxes we buy are meant for
bill

We are having the grandchildren for three nights while their parents are away. So.......

Friday evening, take 13 yr old grandson to his classical guitar lesson then 16 yr old granddaughter to her orchestra rehearsal.

Saturday, take grandson to play in his football match then grand-daughter has revision for her "mock" A level exams. In the evening we will take them out for a meal.

Sunday, a lazy morning, followed by a visit to Swansea marina in the afternoon. Sunday evening will be spent playing card or board games and having evening meal.

Monday morning pack them off to school then collapse in a heap to recover.

We're going to the market town of Skipton on an MCC rally. http://www.welcometoskipton.com/
I'm just going to pack now.

Change of plan . We got there , payed a very reasonable £6 for one night . As we thought we'd see how it was .
Then we were shown where to park , told to put a bucket of water outside Pug..........
Only to get penned in by a Motorhome and two caravans . These were pitched up very close to either side of us and right across the front of us within 20 mins of us arriving .
Clearly No distance rule here .
Maybe that's what the bucket of water was for :D
So satalite down , silver screen off, away we drove .
Now we're parked up in Hawes . On our ownsome, much better ! Loads of room . Peace and quiet .

I think we may be talking a walk with the dogs to the California Country Inn at some point later today, prior to that I'm mostly trying to conserve my self for said exertions. May even read some of my Guy Martin book "When you dead, you dead"
