What are you up to this weekend?

We are having our first 2017 away days at the Brighton CC site. In fact we are right next door (almost) to the burnt out Motorhome that was posted on here the other day... Boy it's a mess.. :cry:
 
Loaded the van today with the idea of an escape tomorrow but no firm plans yet :)

Off to see the Bitzmeister to fit more batteries, and a growler. I may be nearly 50, but that still makes me giggle like a schoolboy, if you don't understand, google "growler" but not if children are present! :D
 
Got rid of the kids for Christmas and ripped out everything from the master bedroom my son was staying in. Now starting to put it all back together, wallpaper and paint this weekend, skirts and flooring next weekend.

Mrs is not happy as the eldest has just had a baby girl and was coming up to stay with us only to find one bedroom ripped out and the other full of furniture from the the first bedroom !!
 
Spent the last few days helping my wife decorate our sons new flat. Spent three days living in the flat without electricity. Gas fire heater and camping gas to cook on and hurricane lamps for light. We should have taken the MH and stayed in it.

Off to Cologne for a few days in the Motor Home to attend a exhibition.

Mo Ho Loaded, watching the weather forecast,:rolleyes: as there is snow,sleet and ice predicted for our proposed destination:(:( (N Yorks Moors, Pub Site)(y). Not looking good though. FWD is not good on Black Ice.:oops::cry:

Whilst everyone is jetting off around the world, enjoying trips away in their motorhomes etc etc :LOL:, spare a thought for poor old Norfolk Red Lol, having to finish off the septic tank, and further drainage bits and pieces.

Only joking peeps, enjoy what you are doing, as once the septic tank is done, we will be. Anne is currently planning our next trip to Wales, so we will probably end up in Cornwall :LOL:.

Note to oneself, do not let her read this post ha ha. :lipssealed:

Just finished packing the van and loading the bikes in the snow, off to Robin Hoods Retreat near Nottingham after work tomorrow. Weather forecast not great but who cares as long as you have the right gear and a nice warm van to go back to.
 
Fixed the toilet door in the motor home. it kept opening as we were driving along. And also adjusted the locking plate for the entrance door as there were gaps around the door. All ready for the cold weather which is coming in. We are off to Cologne on Sunday for a few nights. Expecting -7C. Lets see how good the heating system is in the motor home.

We have had fourteen months of renovating the house we moved into in November 2015.

Oops! Almost forgot. We took five months off in the middle to visit our base in France.:whistle:

Having a Britstop at The Dashwood Arms in Piddington Bucks. Very friendly landlord
 
Off to Bletchley Park as we went a year ago and the tickets are valid a year [need to get our moneys worth!] and somehow not had a free weekend for 50 weeks .
BUT anyone that lives in Milton Keynes is getting free entry this weekend so we will possibly be in a queue for the car park all day.. cest la vie !
 
Chirk for three nights just chilling , going into Wrexham on Saturday to see La La Land at the flicks !
Its not £37 a night ! (y)
 
Were off to the seaside for the weekend the weather will be better than Spain and today out of the wind in the sunshine it was very nice
just sum fish and chips at the sea side and some slots for jay in the arced.
Make a few sand castles and maybe dip a toe in the freezing north sea.
Might take the surf boards calm weather light breezes
forecast.
camp fire at night with a beer and burger cooking over the fire pit.
wonder whare the U saped lounge went?
ANY WAY HAVE A GRATE WEEKEND WHARE EVER YOU ARE
