What are you up to this weekend?

IMG_3695.JPG
It's been a damp day in the Yorkshire dales , so we decided to go for a drive out from Hawes to Dentdale. Over a little bridge > 7.6 < but we managed as the wing mirrors were over the coping stones!
Had a nice pub lunch in Dent , and a walk about the narrow cobbled streets . Then back to Hawes .

Gig in the Northern Quarter , two nights at Burrs !

Will take it off sorn tomorrow, give it a good run and start cleaning it and get ready for mot/hab service

Off to another little CL in Goudhurst, Kent. Tanners Farm Park... Will put up the awning this weekend too to see how easy it is to erect...
Hope it's not windy and rainy !! That can affect an erection !!!;)

I stayed there a few years back.

The bloke who ran it at that time was a right grumpy old sod who kept on about not driving on the grass verges - he had a thing about it apparently.:)

I think you will find Tanners Farm Park is more than a "little CL" ... 120+ pitches.

It's set in a beautiful area and you will enjoy it.(y)

We tried to buy some feed so that my daughter could feed the pigs( she was a big Peppa Pig fan) and old Mr Grumpy said they were all dead and in the freezer:D2

Friday visit to the Outdoor show in Glasgow. 2 for 1 entry with CCC. look only look round what is on show and get ideas of what might suit for the next van. not buying definitely not buying no matter how good a deal they tell me I am getting.

Family weekend 2 mh and caravan
Blakemere near Oulton Park
Should be interesting

Returning to Blakemere but just Kate, myself and dave the dog
It was hard work last weekend trying to fit in around everyone else
2 adults with 2 kids last trip away was Xmas so they were over excited
2 adults first time away in new to them caravan over excited and confused about certain stuff
Us away every weekend
Setup is second nature and are normally settled with wine or beer within 15 mins
But got roped in with motor mover duties and then keeping kids entertained while parents took over an hour to setup
So going for a nice relaxed weekend

Wow! Bet you love it...we're very excited. Any particular issues we should be aware of...other than the engine filter on the Fiat Ducato??? My OH thinks I'm mad to book a trip with so little time to prepare....but he is, nonetheless, very excited at the prospect. My view is that we can load all our caravan stuff into KC tomorrow afternoon (it's all sorted into bags in a spare room)....I believe we have most things we need from the Eriba caravan other than hoses and fittings....we can fill the water tank here at home before we set off. I'll do a bit of shopping Sat early then we'll be off around 11.00 ...camping in the MH will enable us to concentrate on our experience in the moment.... whilst camping.:dance2::drinks: Until we've been out in her we won't have any evidence to work with....just
supposition:smiley:
