What are you up to this weekend?

Rallying at Great Yarmouth....

Hello @Mickx.
Just browsing this thread and thought, 'I recognise those smiley faces'.
I was the lady who said 'Hi' while you were walking your dogs in the race track.

I also noticed a beautiful Hymer with a huge MHF sticker in the window. Was that @icantremember.

Lol - hey it's a small world (although I would not like to paint it)

We enjoyed the weekend and it was nice to meet some other Funsters like @icantremember

Hope to see you in a field soon :)

I've spent the morning, loading bike, food, alcohol and other necessities in preparation for a long weekend escape to Pembrokeshire on Thursday.

Horse riding, cycling, walking and maybe some coasteering are on the 'to do' list.

With some time for chilling to be found (y)

Heading to Ballater which was devastated by floods in the winter. The campsite is up an running again "just" so we are going to spend some money in the community (y)

Going to visit our daughter in her new house in Suffolk. It will be the first trip out in our new van.
Now, we have to do the "British Thing" and book a campsite for a couple of nights.
We did try and get her thinking about an apartment in France somewhere...

Finally getting the motorhome out. :party2:

Only going about 3 miles to the rugby club though for our Beer and Music Festival which starts on Thursday night through to Sunday afternoon. :D:D:D

If anyone wants to come then motorhomes are welcome although it is NOT by any definition a rally or a proper campsite. You are just welcome to find a space and park up for the weekend. We can sort out water but that will be it. Also it's a rugby club so people won't be quietly going to bed at 10pm (y):D

Resigning from the Swiss bank's IT department I've been robbing for the past 12 years. Can't afford to do it really but it clearly has to be done.

Not sure where to go yet, we had a chat about it last night, might be Norfolk the Blakeney area or maybe across the ferry to Studland. I guess it will depend which direction on the M25 is the clearest when we set off.:)

Hello @icantremember Would definitely have knocked to say hi in passing, but there were no signs of life.
Hopefully there'll be a next time.

Arrived in Pembrokeshire, checked in at Celtic Camping, grabbed a pitch and connected to EHU, filled water tank with the hose I purchased after advice from other Funsters (Thank you), purchased WiFi time, so all set for the long weekend :drinks:

Pictures to follow.

Saturday I shall be filming the first four segments for the next series of Practical Motorhome TV. Sunday if the weather is ok I'll take the newly mapped racecar for a blat, if its raining I'll go to the pub.

With friends who have come over from Devon in their flashy green very loud sports car, before a weekend in Le Mans.

Well settled in here.

TV auto found a load of TV channels, all Irish so it was a choice of Neighbours, the only English language programme or cold beer :drinks:

Tomorrow, I will work out how to rotate the antenna and see if I can get some Welsh channels.

Used the shower for the first time, alls good there.

The views are great, sunset would be awesome, if there was sun.(y)

Joe's seen the surgeon and he needs a "funny" scan on his wrist which he has to go to London for but the surgeon has agreed it can wait until our holiday is over in October. After that surgery so we won't be getting away during the winter.

Just need to finish packing the van for the off early Tuesday morning.

The morning rain cleared so I decided to walk along the Coastal Path and find a way down to the sea.

Everyone left when the rain stopped so at the moment I'm virtually alone in the fields.
