Is that at the showground???? Always thought that would make a good spot for a fun meet:)

Yes Debs I know @Popeye was looking at a New Forest meet but it didn't happen. Maybe this was his idea ? maybe we/someone could make it happen. I think they have 3 large rally fields and 1 small one.

Love this area and it's scorchio here right now

Now at Brockenhurst New Forest Waterside DA hosting. The national meet they have a theme music music music. Plenty here havnt had a walk around as yet but spotted a herd of dear while eating supper

Not correcting your "herd" but did you know that the collective noun for deer is a Bevvy, I didn't till I lived here.

Frustrating...... My target is to be able to walk around the village green. Onwards and upwards - need to get fit enough for Stratford and Bagwell. Was going stir crazy after so long in hospital

Yes indeed Dave and NO I haven't got a bottle of Aldi's finest GlenRatspi$$ it's Lidl's GlenMoratspee, please come over at Stratford as I'm down to my last Bottle. (I trust you won't be bringing @cruiser with you)

I was looking at Ocknells though @Debs and @Theonlysue and several others came up with suggestions.

It didn't happen for a couple of reasons the main one being that it was only ever going to be a two night three day bridge between @old-mo Bagwash Farm meet and @Jez and Lin Dorset meet for the Northerners to make the trip worth while.

Jez decided to lay on a York meet instead which is proving ever so popular and so there was no need for a bridge meet.

Now we have so many down here I think getting a meet up and running would be a great idea perhaps @Zigisla could sling his hat in the ring, he knows far more sites round here than I do.
It would also have to be 2017 for me as this year is booked up unless we do an Autumn meet in October.

It can be spectacular in October........

Tooo many folk down at our fav place:LOL:.....it was Porkster I was asking where the rally was that he was doing:)......but lucky you....we've never managed to stay on Aldridge ......it is a very special spot (specially when it's empty) walked across there lots of times....I was looking at your pic...thought it looked like a Hymer exsis ???? Saw one of those when we were looking and never forgotten it....

Hi @Debs

The one in he middle ? It my camper a Concorde compact , van conversion it does look a bit like an Exisis from a distance (also one of my favs)

Daniel

Hi @PORKSTER ,

We were there Sunday. Down in the far corner furthest from reception hut, near over water

Where you there as well ..

It was very quiet the weekend unusually so. I think the price now as something to do with it £34 for the three of us this weekend gone.

Daniel.

I would have seen you then I walked all round the site lunchtimeish we was staying on new farm park at a THS tenner a night for 2 with entertainment

If the little un is over her chicken pox by the weekend, we shall be taking this to Brands Hatch for American Speedfest.

Dave Walker at Emerald, they make the ECU I use so who better to sort the mapping out. Last time (Feb 2014) it made 135.6 BHP @ 6392 RPM and 134.1 ftlb @ 4610 RPM, this time I'd be happy with around 150BHP/145 ftlb but it could go better, perhaps up to around 170 BHP/160 ftlb. We'll see.............

What engine are you running? Do they have a rolling road?

Its a Mk1 1995 Mazda MX5 1.8 twin cam, now running 38mm ITBs (from a CBR 600 bike), custom exhaust, ported and polished cylinder head with Piper 285 camshafts and Ford Focus coilpack.

Yes they have a rolling road, difficult to map an engine accurately without one once its in a car. They also have a dedicated engine dyno cell for development work. They only map Emerald ECUs though.

I have just rang them and they are re-sending an email with all required info - @icantremember and @Tykatem do the same and hopefully we will all see the light :)

Meeting up with brothers at Kingsbury Water Park for the weekend, taking lots of England paraphenalia to decorate the van with ready for the start of the Euros on Friday and England v Russia on Saturday.

Back to Kings Forest adults only site at West Stow, Suffolk, for 2 days of R&R.

Youngest daughter and her family have moved in fo a while, didn't want to lose their sale so back here until they get their new place.

Big squeeze getting all of it into a 2 bedroom house, me and the boss are packed in the small bedroom like a couple of refugees,:rofl::rofl:, but you have to help you sprogs as much as you can.

Looks like they sold at the peak as prices are falling here a touch, I hope they time it right, 40 year mortgages, enough to scare the crap out of you.
