Getting ready for Stratford. After cancelling three MH trips this year due to some serious back problems, post surgery this will be the big trip! Warning to all Straford attendees....... We will be asking for help to slide our air awning on to the rail as I'm not permitted to lift/strain yet. Cheers!

We were going on a trip along through the towns next to the Nantes to Brest canal meeting our daughter along the route at various stops, who wants to walk it with her dog.....but it's rain stop play here. So I'm painting the study instead

We too will in prep for Stratford, I would like to help you with your awning but I fear I will be sat with you watching others helping.

The reason being that I got the ramps out to load the Pig in the back of the van, but like an idiot placed all four fingers in the Ramp hinge and gravity saw to it that my fingers got mullered. From memory I said at the time, "Golly Gosh, that flippin-well hurt.

Spent today at 1940's weekend at Riddings Park Community Centre with daughter , we were demonstrating
spinning wool on a spinning wheel (no not the keep fit spinning) Have had lots of interest and lots of children having ago, adults more reluctant, adults get more embarrased if they can't do it. haha Now at home knackered need a drink.

Next weekend Di is singing at a Rock Choir concert in Bournemouth so we're spending a few days in Poole, a place we love. No doubt we will visit Swanage by the steam railway from Nordern. May have to have fish and chips somewhere. And on Sunday something we've wanted to do for years; boat trip from Poole up the River Frome to Wareham. This trip only runs occasionally because it's very dependent on the tides.
We just need to hope that none of the Bagwell crowd venture too far East.

On duty Friday - looking after all the new trainees, then it is HMS SULTAN's Summer Show over the weekend and I am working on the Saturday, then out for lunch for Father's Day Sunday - FIL not mine. Still rights off the weekend in one hit and leaves plenty of more weekends for the New Forest sites later on.
