Oh my word it's good (y):D

Produced in Market Harborough.

We are at Hickstead with MCC national with about 400 motorhomes from all over including Ireland Any other Funsters here?

Sat in a layby on the a69 in the mh yesterday morning, van broke down so had to wait 5 hours for pick-up truck .
We were heading up to Scotland for the weekend to do some wild camping.hope all you lucky motorhomers with a working mh have a great weekend and the sun keeps his hat on and stays shinning :sun:

Popeye is still here, I'll search for Cruisers amongst the West Sussex chapter....

We have met several funsters here, though not many of them write on the forum though one is parked quite close to us and that is @LaMB , I met one up at Apps Court Farm last week and I said "I see you are with Motor Home Fun."

He replied "yes, sorry about That"

I told him he must never apologise for FUN as it is the best club of all.

I have also attempted to recruit some fresh meat, nice folk all of them.

Returned from Cyprus last week then off to Suffolk. Got back last night now having breakfast in Watford then a few hours on the canal with my brother. Tomorrow tea with friends in Teddington and a nice walk in Bushey Park. It has been a good couple of weeks.

Popeye We just got back and found the "penalty notice " under the wipers!! Where are you parked?

We're the big gold Frankia parked with East Wessex near the hedge much closer to entrance, South of you. Feel free to pop round.

Tracked down @The Cruisers , they'll never feel safe again at a meet, we met the twin grandsons too as well as their daughter visiting for the day.

Any way I can report that it was an absolute pleasure for them to meet me!

Went out on the trike after lunch up on top of devil's Dyke, sun was cracking the flags. Hope you all have a pleasant bank holiday Monday........news at Ten. Deepest Sussex,....Richard Baker.......Griff

On a very nice rally on Merseyside ,can recommend the site for any one interested in arranging a Rally. Close to transport, pubs restaurants and a bar/ function room on site.
Hoylake Rugby club (y) ;) (y)

Been to Fraisthorpe on a temp holiday site with the CCC . Few funsters there too. Huge rally 250 plus caravans and motorhomes :Eeek:
Big marquee on a night with bingo , quiz, open mike , loud naff music till 11pm. Not really our cup of tea.:imoutahere:
But a nice spot with a smaller rally group, as we've been many times before. Plus we were fortunate to get a spot away from the thick of it. At least there weren't any generators going

We moved on this morning , now at favourite little CL in Flamborough , 5 van site.
Been walking the coast today ,lunch in pug on the cliffs, few pints and tea in a pub in Flamborough .
Now back in Pug 9 pm. Chilling , tv is on but we're looking out the windows atm. Cos there's deers and huge hares running about the field in front of us , and horses with their foals skipping about at the side. Very quiet peaceful site. Just us and another Motorhome here . Bliss.
More our cup of tea.
We either must be getting past it , or old.

Been parked up at Oban C&CC for the weekend and today we have moved down the coast to Ardfern Motorhome Park. Nice view across Loch Craignish from the van side door.

And the secretary tells me there is a BIG International ukelele rally here later on in the year. Wonder if our own special Funsters are going :notworthy2:

Having had last weekend off I shall be changing the cambelt, tensioners and water pump on our "new" camper on Saturday. Sunday I have been roped into "waiting on" at Apley Farm shop where our daughters both work, they have an open day and are seriously short staffed (they must be desperate to accept me as a waiter!)

D.

We're off to Europe tomorrow...were planning on driving down through France to midi-pyrenees where the forecast is for high 20's/30's next week but with all the unrest and possible traffic disruptions in France may turn left and head into Luxembourg and Germany, difficult to know for sure which to do. Either way...we'll be on the road :) !
