THIS week I bought

Thought it was time we bought one of these
DSC_0615.JPG

after seeing some complete tools on the roads lately

Just purchased one of these for my fridge in hot weather.
After looking at it it's going back in the box and I am going to have a beer
A warm one

I'd considered buying a set of these but since having a new burner fitted to the fridge it's working perfect even in 35+ temperatures
In fact I've had to turn it down as it was freezing my butter and milk lol

I'm going to have a go at one of the cheap Chinese thermally controlled relays fan controllers with a pair of quality Arctic F12 fans, so £11 all in. If it's unreliable, I'll spend twice...

I fitted the same setup 2 years ago, it’s been just fine. Fans are inaudible.

This week last week I bought...............

For our travels.

Great for descaling and sterilising, without leaving an aftertaste or residue. (y)

A pressie for SWMBO.

x2 for the rear Hymer bumper number plate.

About double the price of most, but with twice the quality and overcharge protection of any I've seen yet.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Last weekend I purchased/ installed four "mods" :
- Alugas 11kg single cylinder kit
- SOG
- Huawei mi-fi
- RainX windscreen treatment and washer fluid additive

These, alongside with previous purchases (Quest pop up gazebo, solar Tyrepal sensors) improve practicality and security for life aboard.

All ready for our 10-day Scotland trip starting Thursday!

Went there again today, all expectant, and not a pastel in sight. Absolutely gutted! Only silver lining is the waistline will benefit :-(

Result! Next time I looked not only did they have them in store, but they were reduced to £1 for four due to short expiry date. That's almost Portuguese prices. Bye-bye waistline.

Just lowered the weight of the MH by fitting hydraulic legs?????????????? Lowered! you ask, well, it is lighter now because the ramps and jack have gone but more important is my wallet is now empty even the moths have gone away. A very boring time walking around Doncaster and York trying to amuse myself using trains and buses. But still a good choice to use SAP, custom brackets and creative engineering.

Hope they are better than the Tesco ones. I was all excited when they started selling them recently, until I tasted one (n)

Given that the speedo is not easy to see on a Fiat Ducato in daylight, I bought one of these. Tried it in the car and am well pleased. In the Moho next week. Tried coloured stickers on the speedo screen but still too dark. Now I’ll have this, Tyrepal, camera and satnav to watch. Oh, and I’ve got to drive :LOL: carefully!!

Went to Dunelm's yesterday and bought all the bedding ready to get our MH next week.
2 duvets, covers and sheets, mattress topper for the 2nd bed and towels.
Hopefully all set for the big pickup on the 3rd.

They work well, but can bounce out of the holder (unless you're using it as HUD) on poor roads. Also watch out for the 1hour alarms - they are rather loud.
I could not agree more about the pathetic lighting of the Fiat cluster (2016). I do not know how they can get away with it. I think they are unfit for purpose. At first I though it might be my own failing eyesight but, each time I get into my raging (2011) car, I see the instruments as clear as day. We should not need to pay (even a few bob extra) to put Fiat's incompetence right!

Thanks for the heads up (lol). I’ll take it easy. Also an excuse to buy another gadget. Mike

Go on I will show my ignorance ,what is it ?

An excellent question... ;)

I think it's a watch strap remover

Mr/Mrs/M&s Midland Nomads wins today's first prize. Congratulations. (y)

What's more, I have just learned it has arrived and I am off to collect it now...

Then I'll buy a better strap for my super watch.

JJ

Poke the speaker with a sharp tool and it shuts it down 80%. I did and it doesn't make me and totherarf jump, I also gagged the step horn with gaffer tape for the same reason, way too loud.

Just delivered 3 fleece blankets from Aldi just in case we are cold on the first trip.
We tend to be hot at night so only got 4.5 tog duvets initially.

Just bought a pop-up type beach shelter for the dogs which was reduced from €14.99 to €7.99. Tried it today and the dogs took to it straight away ... as did hubby! :D

And yes, I did manage to get it back in the back first time of trying! :D2

I did have to chase it when it made a quick break for freedom - when hubby and dogs got out and went in the camper a gust of wind decided to send it 'rolling' across the grass towards the grey camper!

On my way to work this morning a Merc Sprinter van pulled out 20 yards in front of me. problem was I was doing 60mph. I instinctively hit the horn and jammed on the brakes, the car went into a skid and I somehow managed to steer the car between the front of the van and the hedges in the narrow country road. I've no idea how there wasn't a collision. I arrived at work a few minutes later and I checked my dash cam with shaking hands!! It had captured nothing, it wasn't even working. It's been playing up for a few weeks now.
As soon as I got home I bought one of these dash cams online which is the same as the one I have in our MH
Hope I never need it
