THIS week I bought

A pair of wiper blades for Twiggy and a newer upper.rear side lamp for Woody. The old one suddenly stopped working . On investigating it had obviously been off at sometime because it was all stuck up with mastic, bits of wire and even had the wrong bulb in!.
Spent a couple of hours today in between showers to fit the new one, had to make up new wires and it was a pig of a job, but managed it.
Cheers, Dave

Tenax clips and strap
Bought for securing the fridge door to remain closed whilst travelling. The Dometic fridge sliding lock catch works its way loose whilst travelling and the door can swing open.
Could have opted for press studs as a cheaper alternative but part of the stud never seems to remain on the material fir long.
Bought the tenax clips from a boat chandlers as these are designed for securing boat canopies.

Gavin, you can pick up replacement door catches for the 7 Series F/F on Ebay. They are 3D produced and much cheaper than originals from Dometic.
They just need a drop of silicone spray to assist with the fitting. :xwink:

Cheers,

Jock. x:-)

The final SAP s report on the self build "Gods waiting room " bottom line all good But we could improve it by spending estimated £6000 on solar water heating and save estimated £60 a year.
If only I can live to be 166 I would see a break even

Blimey, I installed my home brew solar/battery water heating on our van for less than 200 quid.

Just ordered kit to delete adblue, nox sensor Pf ,sensor etc .from my 2020 boxer, not sure weather I'll fit it or just carry it in the van incase any of them cause a breakdown (very easy roadside fit if needed, just as easy to return van to standard

Had to buy soap dish replacement as I, yes I broke the one in bathroom. I was cleaning the bathroom 👍👍👍👍👍😭

Think packing must have cost more than dishes. 😂😂😂😂😂

Moral of breakage........ stop cleaning bathroom 👍🎄View attachment 990821

My Peugeot Boxer based Autosleeper only had the driver's side under tray fitted as standard. I thought the other side and centre tray were missing so bought them on eBay and fitted them. On the MOT recently they mentioned about the undertrays being fitted. I guess they limit what can be inspected. Not sure if that is a good thing but they must stop loads of crap getting slung all over the underneath of the engine bay.

Just dropped the TV - - - - so 800 Quid for a replacement. Amazon deliver tomorrow.
In other news, mostly audio enhancements for my good lady and her dad. Blutooth TV streamer 2 and a MultiMic. Add that to a new Samsung Galaxy to make the best of Bluetooth phone to hearing aids, and the Moho fund is a very bare cupboard until about April

An electric Brompton to match Dawns.

I bought new Marquart shock absorbers a few weeks ago and had them fitted today.
Bought direct from Germany, it was really straightforward as I paid no vat to the seller; just UK vat paid via the DHL delivery system.
