Sorry, didn't mean to be confusing. Yes they have their own VPN. But they can obviously tell where you're accessing that from, and require that if you're logging on from outside the UK you tell them beforehand and get it signed off.That is confusing sorry?
Are you saying using a VPN to hide your country and not telling your company is unadvisable? If so I totally agree.
But if the IT dept doesn't want you to use a VPN to secure the connection that would confuse me. Most decent companies that are big enough to have an IT dept should offer a direct VPN onto the company network anyway for security purposes.
So, if we know that Starlink assigns you a local IP address we just need to plan a bit so we can tell them ahead of time where we'll be.
