According to a German Facebook group, these places will re-fill bottles

I really wouldn't bother refilling bottles when it's so easy to use local you can buy any and everywhere. The local large bottles connectors are the same as Calor. Just make sure you get one from one of the larger fuel companies, such as Afrique, as some places are reluctant to exchange the rarer ones. Prices are pretty standard.
The only disadvantage about using a local bottle is carrying it somewhere when moving around but with a couple of bungy cords it should be fine and just shift it outside when you stop. They're so cheap just "donate" the bottle when you've finished with it - last time we were in so much rush I ended up carrying the bloody thing all the way home!

We are really interested in visiting Morocco, but would rather do this as a group, following this thread, is there a page where all important things are listed. Many thanks

Have a look in resources, I think TerryL might have put something in there along those lines. To the best of my knowledge there are no large groups who meet up and cross together, although quite a lot of Funsters do meet up in small numbers and cross together and I would advise you read through previous threads and wait until around November when you will see much more activity from Funsters going to Morocco and this would be the ideal time to agree a meet up and crossing with someone who has crossed before and can walk you through the procedures.
Once on the other side most Funsters know what they want to do and set off. Some travel in pairs/or very small numbers and some head to the same destination like Tafroute.
Look at this load of Funsters who met up at Taghazout in 2015. There will never be a group like this one ever again.

We were well entertained too.

I remember that black guitar. I wore out the frets and sold it. I wore out its replacement too. I now have a very expensive Taylor 414 acoustic that will hopefully last a long time. (it was a 65th birthday present to myself and I still dare not tell Gwen how much I paid for it)

I suspect that once the market gets going again we'll see a bit more relaxation. But I'm not banking on it returning to €200 (or €180 with group discount).

We will be travelling in January and want information regarding pets. Ours has an EU Pet Passport, up to date rabies inoculations, a properly fitted identification chip and would like any further advice.

Taken from the same French forum ( above) today. The forum name can be seen in the screenshot. Gutierrez is ' Carlos'

Wow, that sounds a substantial increase in Diesel price, must be really hitting them.

No way their fuel is coming from Russia so down to parasite speculators, a necessary component of capitalism but still evil.

We had intended going over on about the
20th December, is that too early weather wise ?
Everyone seems to prefer January any specific reason ?

Speaking strictly for ourselves we like to have Christmas at home with friends & family then head off first couple of weeks in January and leave Morocco towards end of March 🙂

We will be heading over mid January also with our 2 Jack Russell's (last time we went we had our elderly Jack Russell with us) but as regards your pet question it's not getting into Morocco that's ever going to be an issue it's returning to the EU via Spain that you could be checked (if at all) we haven't been checked coming back from Morocco to Spain and personally I don't know of anyone who has ever been stopped with their pets but 1 thing you should get is a valid Titre test which is required when entering EU from any listed country (Morocco)
As I say we have never had any issues but there's more experienced Moroccan pet travellers on this forum such as TerryL who knows the system inside out and could probably give you all the info you would need, but one thing I do know is you'll love it when you get there 🙂👍

Wouldn't say I know the system inside out but FreddyBB has it pretty well covered apart from Titre test CaptainPaul mentions. We were stopped and checked last time when we came through Ceuta, Spanish customs man went through all paperwork and recorded everything, but never so much as slowed down when returning via Algeciras.
Just a comment, Moroccans don't really get the idea of dogs as pets so are often wary of them, even fluffy adorable ones like our Westie!

Experience seems to indicate that the rainy season ends mid-January which is why folk generally travel after that. However going south it dries up and warms quickly once past Agadir.

I saw a post yesterday saying a Funster had arranged his green card with Saga who would email it to him mid December.
Having been told by saga they could not do this before 30 days before departure I decided to go back to them to get the deal, Well! After many denials and blocking they have finally agreed to email the card to me in mid December.
I think that like all companies it depends on who you get on the phone as to how quick they do it.

We know a couple who in 2019 took their cat with them and on return at Algeciras was ordered into quarentine for six months due to an oversight on their behalf.
It sadly died a few weeks after they got it back.

Hi Terry.

My wife, a retired magistrate, would have kittens if I didn't have all the correct paperwork so I will be looking into the Titre Test. Is that something I should get done here in the UK or is it something for Spain? Very much appreciate your assistance.
