He was short yeah but its not the first time I've encountered these guys , they're around a few places in Greece, and I've had them in lidl in nafplion in previous years , I usually tell them to sod off but I did need new blades



I know about the beach at karathonas I've stayed there before too , I decided to stay at the port as I wanted to visit the town tomorrow. Probably move to the beach tomorrow night.
 
Ever seen an A class after it catches fire?

A friend from Instagram, 200km in to their trip the van caught fire , fire brigade said it started in the rear left wheel box .


Completely gutted.

Regarding Reacher Series 2 , just watched the first two on Prime , excellent , can you download Amazon Prime on your travels abroad ?

To round the story off here's a picture of the Malcom Miller,built in 1968,sister to The Winston Churchill that I took in St Malo in 1982 🙂 now also a charter yacht .

I'm up to episode 6, really good (y) Not seen the Tom Cruise movies yet. I can't see him as Reacher but will watch anyway.

Crewed on the sister Samuel Whitbread several times in the 80s. 72ft with a crew of 12, Skipper and Mate. Pretty basic, 2 heads and no shower! All with the Ocean Youth Club. She took part in the Tall Ships and sailed to Iceland - not with me!
 
Rained a lot last night and its on and off this morning too so got wet on our morning walkies. Went up through the town but nafplion isn't really that pretty up close.


Does anyone else have a dog who seems to deliberately wait till your passing a restaurant or cafe before they make a big performance of doing a shit? Because I swear jade does this to me all the time , she has done since the first year I got her it's like she needs a bloody audience and goes out her way to embarrass me . Ela and milo never do this .. just the awkward child



There's a Welsh boat berthed next door to the Winston Churchill...he's come a long way.

Although I have to say if I was buying a boat this would be more my thing , i couldn't be faffed with all the sails and ropes etc.

I had downloaded oppenheimer already but I downloaded Saltburn and the great escaper both were excellent... Saltburn although a little disturbing at a few scenes was hilarious and a good plot .

I also watched "book club" which was funny , " leave the world behind " which was weird and I downloaded the miniseries "bodies" which I'm watching now.

I also downloaded the first series of reacher and the movies , I couldn't get the second series unfortunately

Just finished saltburn just now, what a strange movie. I think the guy Barry Keoghan may get a few awards for that performance, it's not every day an actor is asked to have sex with a newly dug grave.

Good film on Amazon Prime if anyone is interested.

Leave the world behind was another strange one. such a bizarre way to end it. It was so weird I still don't quite know if I enjoyed it or not!

I’m with you on that film, liked the film, kept you thinking throughout, however I got near the end looked at the time and said to Mrs Westy, I don’t know how this is gonna end in the time it’s got left, then it ended, very unexpected 👍

Yeah there was a few strange bits in Saltburn. No one could accuse that guy of a boring sex life that's for sure lol.

But both weird movies but I enjoyed them both

Just drove round to koronithas Bay, no charge from alternator first 5 minutes then it started squealing again and while squealing there was a little charge going in , then it stopped and for the first time my battery light came on ... I thought that was strange. Pulled up at the far end of the bay where I've parked before . Got out left engine running , opened bonnet and lo and behold my alternator belt has snapped

Now this belt was supposed to be new in September when I got cambelt changed I certainly was charged for one.
But it feels really stiff and brittle .
Not a cheapo belt either ... its a gates belt .


I tried turning the alternator pulley and it's spinning okay so not seized. But something isn't feckin right .

Why would the belt snap? And why am I not getting charging, why the squeaking?

I'm losing the plot with this van, if the alternator needs replaced again I'm gonna scream .

Words can't express how pissed off I am at the minute .
