Slight problem with roads - Italian drivers.Seriously though there are a lot of steps but there are also lots of roadways etc so you should be able to see a lot of it without a problem.
On my bucket listHad a look around Alberobello this morning , its certainly a different little town , again very quiet although they are decorating it just now for Christmas and there's a market being assembled. Think it would be nice with all the lights on.
Then left there and popped in to a service point to drain grey and black waste. Then on to mola de bari and to a launderette to do my washing.
The electrics all seem fine now thankfully but the next installments of Tam's breakdowns is not far away as I'm having a few issues now with rear brakes. But I need to investigate that further. I had planned to have the rhs rear looked at anyway as I get a rumbling when driving and that side hasn't been stripped down before. The other side had a new bearing and handbrake shoes done for its mot but the lazy garage didn't fit the shoes on the other side. It's been rumbling away all the journey but this morning I've had a few cracks/bangs from the rear when braking and pulling away so I think I have something binding/sticking. If I find a quiet carpark after my laundry is done I'll jack up that wheel and see if I can feel anything.
So here's the pics of Alberobello

Don't be silly you can't get past Germany. On my bucket list
When I retire dad, when I retireDon't be silly you can't get past Germany.
He was very cute .The dog in your photos looks like a teddy bear.
To be honest Tam I'd be taking her today rather than have her in pain for any longer.Once in Greece I'm going to take her to the vet to get checked out.
love the photos Tam also that wee dugHad a look around Alberobello this morning , its certainly a different little town , again very quiet although they are decorating it just now for Christmas and there's a market being assembled. Think it would be nice with all the lights on.

I can'tTo be honest Tam I'd be taking her today rather than have her in pain for any longer.
Couldn't you rearrange your ferry?I can't
If I take her to a vet and she had to stay in for anything or wait for results I don't have the time to wait. I'm on the ferry tomorrow. Once in Greece I can take her to a vet I've uses before that speaks English and I can wait if need be
No .Couldn't you rearrange your ferry?
Yeah I'm guessing it's either the shoe has lost a lining or a spring has broken . Trying to avoid using the handbrake but thats not stopping it from grinding. The shoes shouldn't move at all with the footbrake as they're purely mechanical on this . I'm not far from bari .. just trying to find somewhere to park up for tonight that's not too far away from terminal .Last year the rear brake shoes on my Moby disintegrated and locked up my offside rear wheel in Northern Spain.
I managed to free it, got to my destination and back to the UK before fixing it - by trying not to use the brakes and never the handbrake.
Once had to cool the wheel with a bucket of water
As in anal glands? Its a possibility. But she has never liked anyone going near her bum. It's another reason I hold off taking her to the vet as it's a traumatic experience for her. She usually ends up climbing up my arm to my neck to try getting away. Tail is jammed right down over her bum and she will not let you lift it. Vets going to have a job even examining her to be honest. She's the worst out the 3 at the vetsJade.. You don't think she might have impacted 'glands' do you ? mine did and was similar description, tail down, no energy etc.
My brakes were grinding and I was losing pressure on the footbrake for a while, didn't make sense, made descending winding mountain roads 'interesting', maybe the brake fluid boiled (?) but the problem was just the handbrake...Yeah I'm guessing it's either the shoe has lost a lining or a spring has broken . Maybe . My footbrake etc does seem to be working OK if a little soft . But there's no hydraulics inside the drum on this so it shouldn't really affect them. But it could be getting a bit hotMy brakes were grinding and I was losing pressure on the footbrake for a while, didn't make sense, made descending winding mountain roads 'interesting', maybe the brake fluid boiled (?) but the problem was just the handbrake...

Tam if they are still open could you try and book Toby in rather than just turn up?Maybe . My footbrake etc does seem to be working OK if a little soft . But there's no hydraulics inside the drum on this so it shouldn't really affect them. But it could be getting a bit hot
Going by their reviews I should be OK turning up I think . They seem to have had a few campers turn up with mishaps. A few of the same ones I've had lolTam if they are still open could you try and book Toby in rather than just turn up?
Best of luck
Alan
Can't access anything on it. The wheel moves freely as long as you don't apply the handbrake or reverse. I should Hopefully be able to make it to the garage in igoumenitsa. Then they can have a look. Can you back the adjuster off to give some movement
