MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Surely that’s not standard firmest?
No that's a piece of aluminium glued on the van. The one over the driver door and hab door however I suspect is factory fitted. Bearing in mind not many of these had a driver door .it was a ticked box extra on this van costing £455 when new. Quite cheap for a door considering the Sat nav was £3500

My 2004 hymer never had any , frankia didn't have one either.
Our 2004 and 2006 Hymer both had them just where the white areas finish about 10-12 inches down the side from the roof. It must have been certain Hymer models then?

Well my first impression of Tams new van is good, I thought it looked much better then described and expected, only able to see from the fence as it’s all locked up in the compound but it looks great and should clean up well….

Ah yeah it had that but didn't stop rain hitting the side coming In the window or door if you opened it .
It’s surprising how effective it was, Hymer stopped designing them like that, probably because it was a bit more work, expensive to do. It stopped all the water flooding down the sides in heavy rain, yes it wouldn’t stop driving horizontal rain you’re right.

Yes I've got 3 folk looking to view it another couple of enquiries and 1 trying to swap me a vw t5 camper lol
Mange tout Rodney, mange tout! 😄

Take the T5. Take it back to Cornwall, put a surfboard on the roof. Advertise it as a surf van and it will sell in 5 minutes to the wanna be a surfer folk. 😂👍

Going by the stickers etc he may already be in Cornwall. Unfortunately moby no longer is.

But gumtree has messed around with their app and I can't delete or edit my advert

The one over cab is the same Fiamma dripstop as I fitted on my Hymer( I fitted some over cab and front side window) , it has the roof to side cutter but that doesn’t do much because it’s to small.
The one over the hab door is the same as Hymer on and would be standard, it wold be worth getting new light cover and swapping the bulbs for LEDs, original bulbs discolour the lens

N&b owners

Does anyone know a reason why the control panel won't come on with the leisure batteries ( fully charged) but will come on if ignition is turned on ..

Just fading in the sun, same as the front “cab” section has, both same colour.
Add to that the rear of the van was in the barn out of the sun.
Tam might be able to get the front to come up a bit but doubt it will return to what it was originally
T cut 👍
