Well in France you might just get 2 for that money if they are small , saying that I just payed 10.80 euro’s for a melon, admittedly it weighs over 4 kilo😎😆

Had a wander around the village.

Let me guess, 5 Euros for the water ,8 euros for the wine ,coffee 5 Euros and the meal 15 euros each.

We were in France for a month and didn't have any chicken! It was just too expensive. We had plenty of pork and stewing beef though!
That’s why you should fill your freezer with contraband chicken like we did. Did an Aldi shop yesterday here in Blighty, despite everything it’s still cheap compared to our recent France trip.

So why is a tin of pink salmon cheaper than a tin of red salmon?
There are several different species of Pacific salmon which come in tins, some have pink flesh while others red.
Three I know of are chinook, sockeye and coho salmon. Therefor different price. Can't remember which is red or pink. (y)

After the Airbag ECU feasco we finally got away 3 weeks late. So it's going to be a short trip, 3½ weeks in France then ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle, got to be in Barrow in Furness on 4th Nov., then wander back to the warmer south.

Already upset Mr. Wallet, filled up with desiel on the way to the port, flipping French strikes.

They have opened the new express way out of Dieppe dual carriageway/Autoroute all the way to Rouen now.

Stopped tonight at Courville-sur-Eure, and to keep Charlie's chaser nerves in tack its a nice Free Aire.

Enjoy, love France...

Chickens must be rare here though as eggs are extortionate too . Lidl 10 eggs €4.99 😱 asda I can get 12 fir £1.30
Lidl UK best ones are £1.89 ½doz, cheap ones about £1.30 doz but they tast naff compared to the expensive ones. .

Just parked on bottom road, visited for the afternoon, yes there is one particular nice turn, just before the bottom, ( where the village train turns around, bit of patience needed there.
Getting back up is a problem, our 8m mh needed to get on the wrong side of the road to get round the bend. Lots of traffic luckily a friendly local held up the traffic for us otherwise we'd still be there.

An egg is a feckin egg lenny .

I can't say I've ever had a bad egg ... pardon the pun
The flavor varies enormously depending on what they are fed on and how they are kept. Eggs from our own chickens were really nice all gone now, the chickens that is.
