Just block the whole road and let people reverse for you, you need all of the road in a hairpin like that, I am a class 1 driver , so I have heaps of patience , always have more time then people who initially throw a paddy and don’t want to reverse, simplesGetting back up is a problem, our 8m mh needed to get on the wrong side of the road to get round the bend. Lots of traffic luckily a friendly local held up the traffic for us otherwise we'd still be there.
But I am so cold Lenny. Who invented the idea of reverse heat pumps That break down in winter. BastardsYou have a nice view.
Ouch!
Brantome?
With a motorhome you are usually good to withstand a three day siege. Do they have a handy trebuchet?Just block the whole road and let people reverse for you, you need all of the road in a hairpin like that, I am a class 1 driver , so I have heaps of patience , always have more time then people who initially throw a paddy and don’t want to reverse, simples
Well I did say I was there.Brantome?
I do like some of the street art in France.
Sorry, I didn't see that (so many other comments).Well I did say I was there.
I wouldn't call a slavers statue Street artI do like some of the street art in France.
It’s a shame that over here there’s a tendency to Nick it and weigh it in for scrap or as bad, through it in the canal because some wish to erase history
Have to agree. I normally have my eggs from a local free range supplier. If i have to supplement with supermarket eggs then I can definitely tell the difference. They even look different, white differentiated into two zones and bright orange yolks. Supermarket ones often have runny whites and yellow yolks and don't taste as good. The flavor varies enormously depending on what they are fed on and how they are kept. Eggs from our own chickens were really nice all gone now, the chickens that is.
A statue is definitely art and it's in a street (or was)I wouldn't call a slavers statue Street art
Personally I think it's an icon and usually to celebrate the good someone has done.A statue is definitely art and it's in a street (or was)
Let's not get into that on this thread please.Personally I think it's an icon and usually to celebrate the good someone has done.
But when it idolises someone who made a living from the enslavement of others chucking it in a canal is the second best place for it .. the first being break it up and use it as foundations
Not a clue didn't notice anything special when walking round not going back to have a look unless it stops raining.Lenny HB didnt St Jean de Cole win some award for the best roofs in France a few years back.....something for the pair of you to look at! one of our old haunts.
I would call all statues art regardless of what they represent.I wouldn't call a slavers statue Street art
Just had a walk round and loving it already. Thanks Chaser.Certainly looks like it, hope you like it as much as we do.
They used to be my favourite too .
Especially if they have been in the fridgeThey used to be my favourite too .
You'd think they'd have sussed as you only get 1 egg from each chicken per dayUsed to know a bloke who kept four free range chickens. Used to buy dozens of eggs from supermarket and rub them in the dirt sold as free range. Noone ever noticed or complained
In France one egg is enough! You'd think they'd have sussed as you only get 1 egg from each chicken per day
Lively little place, isn't it?
