Haha. Morning all ,, yes off to golf today and looking forward to it!! I hope with my decision to stay here a bit and chill out has not upset anyone? I seem to get into more trouble when I'm travelling !! Xxxxx. Having a brew outside helga last night and a lovely Scott's couple came past asking about my water pump ,, he knew where the camper shop is locally and gave me great directions!! So thank you whoever you were, you are a gentleman !!!
Ok well I woke this morning to find wind here had taken my blue sheet that I wrap my clubs in somewhere else!!! Straight off the back of helga !!
I wasn't really worried cause I can get another, but I wonder where it is??

Debs hello babe ,, I had to go and change my boots the day I was to see them again but I had so many dramas finding the bloody place I missed em !!!

Evening ,, I have decided to hire a little car this week for two or three weeks, the countryside and little towns I have seen here while going to golf etc look lovely, and definitely require closer inspection !!
So I will do what I don't normally do and go out for a meal tonight, just in restaurant on site to chat to a couple of people , to find out where I get the best deal on car hire!! I have heard that it's cheap at the moment !!
And before you all say , why don't you go out alone , well I do, just not often for food at night, people tend to look at you like you have a limb missing or your some sort of ork from middle earth!!! Then of course you get the pity invites, well meant I'm sure but non the less, you know it's people feeling sorry for you sitting at a table all on your own !! Oh poor thing he's on his own,, Eric, Eric ask him to join us!! Lol. Bless em !!
In fact I will say something,, I don't know if a single bloke traveller is looked upon as a threat to any relationship ( like the episode in Benidorm) or just thought of as some sort of nutter!! Or even worse, a lonely old bloke with bugger all to offer!! Lol. Well I havnt met many other single travellers yet but I'm sure we're not all looneys !!!! Lol.
Oh and I have found my blue sheet that blew away last night in the wind!! It was wrapped round a homeless drunk outside the site this morning!! I let him have it and 20 euros for whatever he wanted to buy! But at 9 am he was well into a bottle of San Miguel or some such apperetive!! Hope he's had a good a day as me !!!! Xxx

Have a blast in the towns and villages in that neck of the woods. Get yourself to Cadiz city itself and El Puerto de Santa Maria for fantastic seafood and tapas.

Good afternoon peeps!!
Well I played golf again today, in fact I just got back, got beat by a much better player ! A proffessional golfer ( retired and now owns the course we played at). I mean how can you moan when you get beat by someone Spanish on his own course who has played with all the pros and spent a lot of time playing and living with the great man himself,, severiano Ballesteros !! Well you should have heard some of the stories I heard today!!
Today ranks ( with the company I was playing in ) as the best day of my golfing life and so far my best day on this adventure!!! Them pro golfers have a great life you know!! Wow. All over the world, best hotels , food. And some of the things they get up to!! Lol. Makes my life seem tame!! Lolol. What a day !!!!!!!
So now I'm back in going to have a cuppa and then start to give helga a good interior clean !! I have neglected her a bit lately so time for an internal scrub !!!!!!
Now the bad news , and I don't quite know what to do ??? My golfing buddy is going back to the uk on wed , and doesn't know how long for? Could be a week , could be a month? But I have had a great week here and certainly have some stories to tell, especially from the man who knew the man!! Lol.
Now I'm not one for pushing my luck so I won't be able to play golf without him and that leaves me with a decision to make!! Do I just sit about and wait, while doing a bit of sightseeing or do I shoot off and explore, maybe Seville etc and wait for the return of mr golf and then come back or just put it down to being a brilliant time, one never to be repeated and move along on my adventure??? I am unsure today because God forbid. Without the golf here for me I will be bored in another day!! I think this has been the longest I have stayed anywhere so far !!!
What do you reckon people???? Xxxx
