Ian and helga go south !!

I cycled yesterday before I went up a track to the beach at trafalger !! What history !! I had to leave after ten mins though my imagination got the better of me. !!!

I was standing looking out to sea, and all of a sudden a dozen Spanish and French galleons came into view ,, I was immediately transported onto the gun deck of a British 'man o war ' I was in a small space with lots of other sailors and gun hands, we had spotted the enemy and our admiral Nelson, had given the word to hold fire!! So all guns were primed and ready to go , we had trained hard and were able to discharge a round and reload within 1 min. Now I was looking along the line of guns and all that manned them! Sweat, grease, dirt, oil and tar was dripping from us all,

As we approached the enemy we saw the flags of instruction waving from Nelsons ship , stand fast was the order from our corporal ( who was only a youngen himself, probably only 20 or so)" don't worry lads he said. We will engage soon enough." I looked to my left and saw my mate turkey smiling at me through the sweat dripping down his face ( we called him turkey cause he had a goiter on his throat that hang like a turkeys neck) " we are gonna be fine youngy" he said stay calm !!
Well my heart was pumping as the lieutenant said "got the orders boys. "Fire on the upswell , aim for the masts and rigging!!!! We waited and seconds seemed like hours till no 1 gun fired!! FIRE FIRE FIRE was the order and what seemed like with all my might I pulled on the firing line to let blast the cannon! It shot back about 3 feet and all of us pulled and grunted to get it back into position!! All I could see was thick black smoke and all I could hear was the smashing of the waves and splintering timber! I saw lumps of sharp timber as big as doors flying round and smashing into men and cannon! The screams were horrifying as some men were dragged out to be replaced by nervous men knowing what was coming!! We positioned the gun already loaded and fired again,

I don't remember much to be honest but it seemed like an age till we were given the order to stop firing, as I looked around I thanked god I wasn't badly injured, I lifted my head and looked for turkey. He wasn't as lucky as me and had a bad wound to his leg , later I heard that the butcher of a surgeon had taken the leg in a drunken haze and not been able to stop the bleeding !

Well we were all glad to have been victorious on that day, but most of us were just thankful to have stayed alive !!

So all you have to remember is that with a submersible pump, more so than an inline one I find, is that you do not ever want the tank to run empty as any muck in it will end up around the inlet & trapping the non-return partially open.
Did you miss the link to the caravan dealer up the road in Cadiz ?

Yes Gus I did miss it mate I will look for it !!! And yes I bet when I got rid of old water it sucked up some crap!! I won't ever have empty tank again!! And heating is working lovely again and quietly!! Obviously due to boiler or hot water tank being full??

You will be writing books soon, sitting in the sun in new places, what a way to earn a living lol
Seriously I think you should consider it, because we are all waiting to hear from you every morning.

You culture vulture!!! What's wrong with staying to party, sing and gamble with the Funster mob at Pinar? Thought you'd stay there for a while.

Sorry Ian, but no, as your Truma instruction book will confirm. If you are short of an instruction book, here's a link.
Broken Link Removed

Zippos are very robust, aren't they?

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Leanne is right - El Roccio is not to be missed. If you plan to go to a site the campsite just by El Roccio is called La Aldea. Here is a link to it.

Certainly Ian. :)

4. Operation during win-
ter: Move slide switch (b) to
„Winter Mode“ and set re-
quired room temperature us-
ing rotary knob (a).
Note: The Trumatic C heater
is a hot-air heater with an
auxiliary water heating facili-
ty. Heating is therefore pos-
sible with or without wa-
ter.
If the boiler is full, the ser-
vice water is automatically
heated as well. The water
temperature depends on the
amount of calorific output.
If the boiler is empty and the
room temperature is set to a
low level, we recommend
setting the water tempera-
ture slide switch (c) to 40°C
in order to prevent unneces-
sary water heating, which al-
so prevents the heater from
being switched on and off at
frequent intervals.

Only too pleased to be of assistance. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Jock. I believe and I was told that water only heated to 40 degrees doesn't kill any bacteria ???? legionaries desease especially. And someone also said that, that was the only thing Hymer or trauma did not do correctly??

"But I never stay anywhere too long"
I think you're on the run .......... :lipssealed::lipssealed:

well in a way I suppose I am !!
And it's more enjoyable than sitting somewhere at home I don't want to be thinking of nothing but shit !!!! Lol
Oh no don't remind me of the zippo and tongs incident.... Please?!!:tmi:

Hi Ian. The best aire in Seville is in the Aires book number 119. If you haven't got that the co-ords are: N37d21.986' W005d59.646'
It's a secure compound for cars and is a short walk or cycle from the centre.

Hope that helps :)

Ian, this place in Seville is OK http://areasautocaravanas.com/en/seville-site/ or there is a car park that is a touch closer to town where you can pay to stay in overnight.

The areas autocaravanas place does have mechanics and might even do habitation servicing but not sure.

Martin

That's awesome Martin but they have put 2 sets of co ords in there ? I have never seen that before ? Which do I enter?
