That's a good idea jock and I actually did that on a small pad but I can't find the pad!!! Lol. I keep putting things down here and then they mysteriously vanish!! And trolling through the thread kills me!! I will just have a drive round, I'll find it jock, I mean it's not as if I'm homeless is it?? Lol.

This site was full for several months, they told us, we stayed at El Naranjal but look back at our recent comment re Street parking @ianthebuilder

Well people the swelling has almost gone, no discolouration and no pain! ( as to wether it will still function or not is another matter? But at present I have more chance of getting round Spain without hitting another tree than finding out!!) So I'm safely parked up at los pinos Denia, lovely site, feel nice and relaxed! New v5 arrived for helga, and new bank card all safe and sound!! I must say its a bloody relief to be out of Benidorm!! Meeting some funsters especially Eddie and Sheila and Alan was lovely! But Benidorm isn't for me! If I was an alcoholic or just wanted the sun for winter it would be great but to me it's not a true reflection of Spain! And so far Benidorm has beaten me so I can tell I didn't quite get it!! The cost of Benidorm for me and helga was,,,, 1 canopy destroyed,, 2 window latches,, I window fly screen, 1 window blind, and a swollen bollock!!! So it beat me I'm afraid and when I came away I must admit I breathed a sigh of relief!! Now on the othe hand, altir and albir just up the road are a different story! Bit like Denia and javea I hope! Nicer bars, shops, more Spanish owned. Anyway it is only my personal opinion , and I'm sure if I was 18 and with a few mates Benidorm would be grate!! So I got letter, and I'm here for 1 night, I found javea camping that sue said about in an old book so I'm going to try there tomorrow! I am going to give helga a bit of a clean later, windscreen is filthy ! I am now just sitting having a brew in the sun again dreaming of what might be !!! I'm all excited to be moving around again and 2 or 3 days in one place is enough when I'm not working ! I'm looking forward to meeting Gus sometime next week as he has found a dealer whatever that hopefully can help me sort helga right out !! So till later xxx Ian.

It seems disasters only happen when you MOVE, so stay STILL for a while and catch some rays !!!
Mind you, we always shuffle on every few days to see whats round the next corner, or return to one of the little "gems" we have found on previous visits. Mobility "at will" is, for us, one of the main attractions..
Sounds like you have fallen into this lifestyle that we all love like you were made for it..
Good luck with getting the van fixed up and continue enjoying your journey..

Ok just thought I'd ring javea site to see and there full. I can't get hold of the other one they told me about so it looks like I'm gonna be squatting!! Or wild camping as some put it!! Now I can't find info on thread so come on you lot don't bail out on me now. Tell me where in javea I can pull up and stay? Lol.

@ianthebuilder please could I ask something to help my poor old eyes,:rolleyes: when you are writing about your brilliant adventures, could you please put one paragraph in as when I am reading a block especially on an I pad it comes up very tight and I loose my place, especially when I have tears running down my eyes laughing . :)
