If it was certified/registered then wouldn't there be a tracking number you could check & see where it was.?
 
+1 for wind out you can then if you wish by some fly sheets for it or windbreaker sides or evan a safari room miles more options. But never leave it out in wind heavy rain alwayus lash it down whatever weather and never ram it into a tree

I was going to ask you if the tree was ok, but thought it was a bit "soon" !!

Karma bit me back today as I smashed my sink cover (see photo thread) ironically my wife (SWMBO) witnessed my "accident" just after talking to you in the laundrette.

So I'm blaming you :giggler:

I know a certain gentleman who had a bloody great girder in a ferry jump in at the side of him, when he sees folk looking he says Sue does most of the driving, then grins as they notice the gaffer taped door mirror, that wasn't me either. Do admit to pulling the rear bumper off our last van on a post though.

Morning people, lovely morning here,, so I woke with renewed vigour today and got straight onto the sender of my letter in uk, got tracking no and proceeded to have a look, sent on 25th Jan,, scanned this morning in a depot somewhere in Spain. Result,, rang uk Royal Mail enquiries and a lovely young lady told me alls good so far but not to expect it or ring back till on or around 10 th. So no probs at the mo it seems!! I have decided to do the rest of the week here then go back to javea for a look, hopefully the. Cross the Himalayas to Denia for the letter then proceed further south towards the magic kingdom of the all knowing, all fixing wizard sir gustas Lopez !!! I don't quite know where he is yet but I'm sure on my travels I will receive a sign!! Still plenty more of Spain to see and then into Portugal ! But today I am going to have a leasurely walk around Benidorm, few coffees maybe some lunch. Do some people watching and chill,!! I will post if anything out of the ordinary happens , otherwise I will post upon return later! Oh and somehow my number has ended up in the hands of a woman in France who has contacts and or work to be done for expats later in April time!! Could be a right touch! She is ringing or texting tonight so I will update!! Isn't life exciting!! Lol. Have a good morning and if your ever bored feel free to ring for a chat!! Lol. Xx. Ian.

You take care young man..... You've got to watch these French women .... before you know it you'll be sitting with pipe and slippers by the fireside with her ... ask @JJ. AND they don't make decent cups of tea... :( (sorry Frankie.)
 
Morning Ian, there is an easier flat route between Javea and Denia, take the main road out of Javea (cv734) towards Gata de Gorgos, turn right towards Jesus Pobre and follow the signs to Denia. A couple of miles further but much less diesel used and no rocks!

Right today people I have walked in the opposite direction to Benidorm and I find myself in a beautiful little place called albir!! Women are absolutely stunning, single and ready to rock ( and not a plastic chair on the side of the road in sight ) lol. I have found a lovely site called cap blanc about the same money as villasol so I am going to stick to the plan stated in earlier post but on the way back from javea I will be booking in here for two days, put some nice clothes on to blend in( if possible) and have a lovely time!! ( I wonder if the woman I have just had coffee with and had a lovely hour will still be here? Or was she just a figment of my overactive imagination?? ). This to me is proper Spain. Lovely!! I'm going to have more coffee now and then a slow walk home, dreaming of the senorita and what might have been !!!!!!!! X
 
Ian, for all things benidorm look up @Snowbird at la toretta or @Brisey at vilasol.
They are locals now lol

Ok good evening all!! I have just walked into helga, kettle on. Walked about 15 miles today not bad but top of me legs are a bit achey!! Still good stamina training !!! I had a right result an hour ago while walking back,,, I had a call from a Spanish number and upon answering a very sexy voice says. Hola mr yoooung. Hola Chicky I said in my sexiest voice and guess what. She started laughing. So much she couldn't talk to me!!!! I thought I was doing ok and she was collapsing on the floor in fits of laughter!!!( bloody cheek). Anyway after about five mins when she pulled herself together she said. Mr yoooung YOUR LETTER HAS ARRIVED. !!!!! FantStica chicks I said and she started again !!! So they have vacancies so I'm going to stay a night there to say Thankyou. Then off on the continuation of my adventure!!! I wonder why when I try to be sexy in Spanish it makes the women all laugh!!! I was in that cafe today and a woman sat down next to me with her mate and said hola,, now I don't speak much Spanish but I thought I'd have a go and I don't know if it was panic or fear but I seemed to say. Hola senorita,,,, ithkierda ,, delerecha! (Now the spelling is wrong but what it means is left and right). God knows why I said left and right but it must have worked cause she started giggling wich then turned into a full blown guffaw after I said senorita no problems so yo albanil!! Which means I am a builder,,, well it broke the ice and again when they both stopped laughing we had a good chat in Spanglish!! And to be honest we were all laughing then and when I left I hit her with Senorita. So mi hirroto mi dentuturas!! Which she told me while the tears were rolling down her face that it means. My dentures are broken!!! So I think I may have pulled with humour!! I will never know if I will see her again but we did have a laugh! She went through a box of napkins wiping her face! All her eye makeup was running down her cheeks!! So she either thought I was mental or funny but I can live with either cause she was gorgeous!!! So now I'm licking my wounds in helga kicking myself that I didn't use google translate from the bloody phone!!! Still another day another dollar!! Till later. Ian. Xx
