Ian and helga go south !!

So much for me getting my accounts done tonight. I was waaay behind with the thread so thought I would read just a few pages, 20 pages later ive finally caught up on the thread. Thanks for sharing your tales Ian, have really enjoyed my read tonight and thanks to everyone else who has contributed in making this a wonderful thread.

When you get to your next resting point Ian I think you should start a new thread. Along the lines of "Ian and Helga Part Two". Or should that be Part Three?
Then gradually you will be getting it laid out for an easy conversion into a book or the screenplay for a tv series.

. That's a good idea fenman, but I don't know the first thing about technology, if I start a new thread won't this one be lost ? I would like to save the whole thing but if I start a new one it will get shredded, won't it??

Hi Ian, the thread will stay on FUN when you start a new one they just slip off the front page, you will notice that every now and again the old stuff from 2011 or whatever suddenly turn up on the front page of most recent post because it's been found by somebody searching.

anything posted on the forum is held in a data file with an address. just post links to previous related threads. couldnt be easier and nothing gets lost

Ian, go to your thread and at the top of the page click watch thread, then you can just click onto your own name at the top of the forum page go into "alerts" and then under "your account" select watched threads and you can go straight to it.

Hahaha hello all,,just arrived at peniscola Los pinos campsite,fantastic,one load of washing on already,now sitting sampling the free WiFi, bloody marvelous,,really nice spanish lady serving me,,I think I'm in love !!!!! Lol so get washing done,have a chill out and go to town tomorrow,see the walled city,and do lots of people watching ! So do you all think I should start a new thread or are you all happy following and posting on here? And what a bonus,,electric,WiFi all for 12 euros a night ,,!!

Glad you are happy with the site Ian,doesn't take long to walk down to the castle and there are plenty bars and restos to stop at.

If you like red wine and don't want to spend much try this. You can get it in 2 or 5 litre bottles, 5€ for 5 litres and it really is ok.

You can get it at Mercadona which is about 5 mins from Los Pinos,the reception have maps on how to get around.

Look,,,helga has an awning!! First time it's been open by me! It was a bit sticky but with a push and a pull she came out ! I tell you what, there's some flash motorhomes here! I've never even heard of some of the makes,,look like bloody Mayfair flats! I have to have a quiet chuckle though,they have got pot plants and all sorts out in front! Do they bring them??? Lol so I been told I can get a table and chairs from peniscola,which is handy,,I look like a latch key kid sitting on my step!! Hehe, just had a lovely big bowl of spaghetti bologna see, with a side of chips ( Mr and Mrs Clarke, eat your heart out) and that was my first bought meal in espanol! I'm gonna have a walk into town in a bit,after last load of washing is done ,,, chat later,,oh and any ideas about title of another thread,or shall I just carry on? Xx
