We were travelling back a few years ago from Spain and got caught in a road block by a bunch of these revenue police? Asked if we had fags and drink I answered neither the very butch French lady smiled at me and said you are the perfect man....

Would have been great if she wasn't so scary!:)
 
give Ruddock Race homes a call they do fiamma awnings great bunch of lads too family run not out to rip you off like some firms.They did the hob/sink unit in my last van.

Exactly what I told him Kevin has supplied me and may freinds with awnings at fantastic prices he recently repaired my mates for 20 quid many people would have written it off. He also supplied me with spares new and secondhand for my racevans awning at great prices The Ruddocks are good people.

Also wont hurt to call into Johns cross if your on way to mine and ask/get advice should get a good discount being mh funs main celebrity

Chaser me old son! Lol.i havnt got one at all.!!! It's in a skip at Benidorm where I drove into a tree and ripped it off !!!! Xx

Boiling hot, had to put a hat on!!
Wondering if I'm leaving Spain too soon? Lol. Would be great to spend may here I think! Lol.

What a difference Spain and this weather has made to my old, tired, bricklaying and building body!!! I havnt woken up for years without one pain or another! ( and that includes women). !!!!

I am sweating like a fat bird in greggs !!!!

In an ideal world, I would come back to uk, get a good site for a base, find 5 months work and shoot off back here as soon as I possibly could!!!

Still I don't expect miracles, my life is good at the moment, and I'm sure many would like to change places with me!!!

I am going to continue to clean helga now, 1 side done, the rest to go!! I hate to repeat myself but it's bloody roasting here!! What's the weather like where you are ? Xxxxxx.

Sun shining in Devon, blue skies but not very warm. Just spent a happy half hour putting filler in the nail holes in the new front door. The things we do on weekends! :)

Sorry to hijack the thread with my front door, but at least it proves the sun is shining here!

Experts might note the doorlock should be in the top bit of the door but we (that is me!) are going to fit a mortise deadlock later.

Proper April weather! Trying to dry washing outside on the line is a bit of a game.

Lovely sunny morning, opened the front door to see rain tipping down so took the dogs out with my shorts on and umbrella up!!

Sounds as if you are coming round to judges and my thinking slowly now it's time to come back(n)
 
would love to be doing what you are doing but with two kids still at home its a while off.Its your first trip out there,you have found it to your liking now you can make plans.Come back home work hard while weather is good as soon as it starts to turn cold head for spain again.
I have just had to give up racing due to problems with my hands so need to find something to do with myself at weekends now and seeing as we already have the van motorhoming is an obvious thing to do so next weekend we are going to pack the van and go and stay in a field and watch some racing and drink beer :-)

Cheap weekend away if ya not racing could even marshal and pocket a few bob and free burger and chips

Ok, good evening,,,

I have just finished cleaning helga, and she's looking good!!!! Even people passing are saying how nice she looks for an old van !! ( bloody cheek) !!!

So I'm not sure if I fancy going out tonight, but it's sat night, I'm leaving Friday so I might just have a wander into town !!!

Now some Spanish have turned up for the weekend on the pitch opposite me, and they have a big black dog!! Now this dog hasn't stopped barking for two days, and he's beginning to piss people off! To be honest, when I'm in helga with the door shut I can't hear a thing but the two pitches next to them, one old boy from the black country( lovely bloke) and an old girl the other side are pulling there hair out !!! Now the old boy has just asked me if I would go to the office with him to complain about the dog?????? I must admit, it would be a nightmare if I heard it as much as them but I can't, I told the old boy to wait a bit, I went to the spaniard a and had a quiet word about the dog, they are really nice, they apologised, but dog still barking occassionaly, old boy getting well stressed!! What else would you do!????

So. A really busy, productive day, and looking foreward to a roast tomorrow( if I get there after tonight) Speak later,,, Ian xxxxx
 
buy a water pistol. every time the dog barks squirt it in the face. after the first few times, all you need to do is show the dog the pistol. if that doesnt work, put a bit of gravel in an empty plastic bottle. when the dog barks shake the bottle near the dog

The mrs is the Pre 83 125 photographer so she has to be there and for me to still go and watch saves me going mad

To be honest there is no way i am working weekends unless i do something wrong during the week and have to put it right and i am a ceramic tiler and its rare to make a cock-up.
Racing was motocross as in my profile pic raced the british pre 83 125 over 45 class
