Good morning ....
I had a nice early night last night cause I was tired from working!! Lol
I starred the big clean up on helga yesterday and I achieved a lot!!
Took off and washed net curtains, took sofa and loose upholstery out and shampood,,emptied every cupboard cleaned and polished inside and out, took an old stainless plate rack off the wall by the sinks and scrubbed wall clean( where you couldn't get to it cause it was fixed) moved contents from original cupboards to new more practical locations,, ( now less weight over back axle and more between axles) cleaned carpets and washed floors, cleaned and polished all vents, air con, skylight etc in roof ( inside only)
And all this while sitting occasionally outside with a nice cuppa in what felt like 25 degrees and burning my chest !!
Now today I am going to empty my wardrobe and wash entire collection of clothes etc ( except, leather coat, jacket, and 2 suits) and then I have the bathroom to do, and then the cab area!!
After I have done this, tonight there is karaoke on at the bar here from 9 so I will treat myself to a beer or three!!
It's funny how much I'm looking foreward to a drink this evening after a couple of days work( if you can call it work) but it feels nice to reward your efforts with a treat!!
Then I am planning to do nothing over the weekend but sunbathe and return my body to the colour of a Greek god I used to resemble in my youth!!! Lol
On Monday however, my work will continue on helga, and I will spend a couple of days on her outside!!
Yesterday I went to the onsite shop and for 7 euros bought an Ariel lead to see if I could get the free sat tv here??
Well plugged in, tuned tv and got about 35 Spanish and Dutch channels. Then a German selection then a bit of French. But then all of a sudden. Chanels 48/49/50/51/52 all in English and no 48 is bbc one! Bonus. So now with my journey home looming I can catch up with weather news etc !!!
I heard yesterday about 2 afghans in a dingy coming across the Chanel ( or being dropped close to uk by a smuggler) and being bought ashore to uk by lifeguard,, I did wonder a few weeks ago how long it would take tgem to start doing that! Still I think it's easy to moan about it while I'm sitting in Spain with a home on wheels, enjoying the sun and the freedom Europe affords me, with a few quid in the bank !! PLEASE DONT START A DEBATE ABOUT IMMIGRATION IT WAS JUST A THOUGHT !!!!!
So now I'm laughing cause I have just realised I'm sitting here in the shower block on the loo sending this,,, Lolol. Not a pretty sight!! But who cares you can't see me!!!! Will post later. Have a lovely morning ,,, xxxxxxx
