France Off The Menu.

Then the question to be asked is what were they doing over there? When did they go? What did they go for? etc. Along with the ones not uk citizens granted visas to enter to " visit my sister" etc; whole lot is shambolic. & there we are detaining & finger printing legally entitled eu citizens whilst no one wants to sort out the elephant.
Indians are known for spending their time in UK and India ...Many second and third generations still have family they visit long term back in India. Not just Indians,,Many Greeks throughout the world return to there family for long periods in their Homeland..Suppose it's human nature..BUSBY.

I think the exemptions apply to people who stink of garlic as well.

Very disappointing, praying all restrictions will be lifted soon

Just out of curiosity, how long is the crossing?
Departs Plymouth 15.45 Arrives Santander 13.15 next day.

Not sure what the time difference is but I think the sailing time is about 20.5 hrs

You seem to be under the illusion that this will be over. It won’t, ever. We need to start realising that we have to live with it. That means that there will always be people testing positive, becoming ill, being hospitalised and yes, even dying of it. The vaccine will reduce the numbers to manageable numbers but it’s here to stay.

Jesus, my guts are churning at the thought, i don't think i would have the sea legs for that, and the mrs suffers with vertigo on occasion, i'm thinking that's a non starter for us.

But majority are British citizens..BUSBY.😀
There are lots of Australian citizens waiting to return to Australia due to a proper restriction on entry. Just because they were UK citizens returning from India didn't mean we couldn't put them on the red list straight away.

Out of interest, just priced up return crossing from Plymouth to Santander with a cabin for two seniors.
Price

£1,339

A tad expensive. One could fly, pay for top class accommodation and have change for food and drink at that price.

Presumably that means that all those who obtained an EU passeport after b****t to avoid the 90 days rule (including several well known examples) can still holiday in France?

I read this as i can go to 🇫🇷 on my 🇮🇪🇪🇺 passport :) (but there may still be a requirement for quarantine)

I believe so as, if they are holders of a passport, that means that they are either a national or citizen of an EU country, thus allowing them entry uninhibited by the B****t situation
