France Off The Menu.

Too many folks on here take things to much to heart, have a laugh for god's sake, I love France as hundreds do on here, but it doesn't mean you have to bow down at any mention of the place, I find Chris comments very funny at times and may well have a bit of truth in many, it's maybe the fact that so many like the place that it strikes home.
In fact I would like to bet there are just as many comments about other countries but not so many that like them that it gets lost.
Keep it up Chris (y) :sun:

I do not think there is any room anywhere for accepting that the 1% have a right to so speak. They have a right to think it but not voice it. It's not about being too sensitive. I thought it was Rule 1.
Not much point having a forum where you ‘think about things’ but don’t discuss them

🧀🤷🐵

Received an update from UK Gov this morning and I thought its going to be about travel changes recently introduced by French Gov. However, it was only to inform me about an ongoing incident near Nantes and to avoid the area. So, checking again on travel from UK into France, it more or less seemed unchanged from the last time I looked at it. However, If I have read and interpreted the details correctly it now states a PCR negative test requirement 72 Hrs before entry (No change) and another one before leaving (?) if this is so would it require 2 tests for Brits who spend 2-3 days travelling through to Spain ? I will soon know for sure as quite a few Funsters will be travelling through no doubt. onemanand2dogs said yesterday he crossed over the Spanish border without any checks what so ever. ???

Look - I wont post any more anti French comments.

I promise it is mostly said in jest and as a nation they are sometimes an easy target.

So from now on its ferme le bouche on France (or something like that )
Do you know why the French only have one egg for breakfast ????
Because..........in France one egg is enough !:rofl::rofl:

Todays Telegraph.

Ministers are to consider lifting the requirement for “expensive” PCR tests for fully vaccinated holidaymakers returning from green list countries – but the decision will hinge on Porton Down tests on transmissibility.

Grant Shapps, the Transport Secretary, said he was in favour of a “vaccination dividend” for jabbed travellers but ministers would need to be reassured by scientists that there was no serious risk of transmission from those who had been inoculated.

He said the evidence to date showed fully vaccinated people did not have 100 per cent protection from catching the virus. Instead it was about 85 per cent, which meant it was critical to assess the risk of transmission once a vaccinated traveller was back in the UK.

Mr Shapps said the possibility of changing the rules for travel would be considered in the June 28 review of the traffic light system.

We love france, and the french people, you can't blame their government for not letting us in yet, if you are looking for someone to blame then look to our government, they are the ones that have let 1000's of people in from india.

The popcorn's not for you PhilandMena but for this ever-changing and tedious scenario of variables, expectations and opinions from a dithering of ministers, professors and the directors of a seemingly endless list of previously unknown public health organisations.

They could remove the VAT or make the tests cheaper the prices here compared to other places is pure profiteering.

You want to take on your 'Host Country'? Shame on you.

When did the Welsh last win a war against the English?

Anyway you earn your living practising the Laws of England and Wales

You started on the English so it is open season now.

Its very noble of Chris fans and friends to come to his defence!
But if you were all honest with yourselves! You are all trying to defend the village idiot.😀
Considering where he lives, I wouldnt be surprised if he started the Kent variant either.🤣

Chris is a 'variant' in his own lifetime - being a Welsh rugby supporter living in Kent.

Yes not sure how vague . Entry allowed if for essential reasons but tests and confinement for 7 days
LOL ! Maybe its just my Lap Top/ Browser but post #122 is just a black screen with nothing else showing.

What is the point of a 'green' or'amber' zone of you have to have the same tests when returning?

This is like "planks are us" governing?
