Yep, every relationship I've had is like that, you have to guess what you have said or done wrong, that's enough for me, relationships are supposed to add something to your life, ive officially given up. What's worse, Tam isn't even in a relationship with Jackie!!

1) have zero interest

And
2) I no longer ask , if someone doesn't tell me there's a problem I'll assume there isn't.


As far as I'm aware I've not done anything .

And from my past experiences it seems she's been in a huff most of the day and only after 7 hours of chatting with the couple next door and a few drinks has she got out her mood and expected me to just jump in and join them.

I'm not sure of the correct word for that but I'm pretty sure men get called misogynistic for a lot less.


I'm too old for game playing , one of the reasons I've remained single as I'm no longer prepared to be a doormat....been there done that too many times now.



I'd rather be miserable and alone than being miserable in a relationship.

If you've been married etc for 20 years plus consider yourself one of the lucky ones . If you've been married 50 plus years you deserve a medal for lifelong achievement because jeeso it's a different world now.

Northernraider Tam I haven't commented about what's gone on with Jackie but for what it's worth I think you did the best thing. Now just wishing you a less stressful time on your onward travels.
For what it's worth you understand yourself a lot of people don't and exist instead of living, you and your dogs are a team and living your lives don't let others spoil it for you, doesn't seem worth the hassle.
