Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

It all depends where you buy your cheese, who the producer is and how it has been stored.

The Goodlife Shop in Wooler (Northumberland) is worth a detour for it's range of fabulous cheeses - supermarket cheese only fit to go into mousetraps after that. Except cheese isn't what you bait mousetraps with!
 
Oh, Tam, forgot to say, have you tried Waze for a sat nav - it's free and when we've used it abroad we found it quite good. Might be okay for you until Paul arrives with your replacement.
 
OK I have to ask if anyone else thinks this is kinda strange or downright weird behaviour. ... now I know I'm no authority on women ,I kind of gave up trying to understand them many years ago but 🤔

So Monday we left simat de la valldigna. We drove down to gandia , both did separate shopping etc on route , Jackie sent me the parking spot she was at and I headed there , when I got there nae Jackie lol. She'd parked further along beach where my van couldn't get too.

Fair enough , she popped along for coffee .

Next morning she drove along to where I was parked , said she was going to Denia next as she hadn't been , not the best park ups in denia for big vans nowadays. Banned from sea front etc and as I wanted to go to moraira for the market on Friday she went off to denia I went to moraira .. ... I sent her a couple of texts on Thursday and a few photos of ela at the dog park etc , she never opened or read the messages , I've not heard from her since , I sent her another message yesterday morning just making sure everything was OK as it wasn't like her and well she's a woman travelling alone etc .

Anyway still no reply , she's been on her phone cause WhatsApp does tell you when someone was last seen . And her polarsteps is activated. Not heard a peep from her but can see from polarsteps she's Miles ahead down in santa fe at a thermal pool .


It's kinda like the morroco thing again and whilst I ain't her keeper etc I can't help thinking it's a bleedin strange thing to do .


So is it me ? Or what's the thoughts

I've decided I'm not sending any more messages as it feels like she's bleedin ignoring me for some reason but god knows why.

Of you mean the one on here in valencia I doubt it as Jackie doesn't use mhf and if she did I doubt that would have bothered her.

As far as I'm aware we haven't fallen out. I explained to her why I wasn't going to denia and why I wanted to go to moraira .. parted on good terms etc ... said we'd see each other in a day or two.

But I won't be that far down the country that quickly ... I've several stops before I'm down near malaga

Aye well we ain't joined at the hip and often go do our own thing for a few days and catch up again . But normally not complete radio silence... 🤷‍♂️

Even when parked up together she's normally doing her thing and I'm doing mine , have a blether and a coffee now and then and she'll come on dog walks sometimes not always ..

She's a big girl , independent and can look after herself . It just seems a little strange to go so far ahead and not say owt .

But hey ho

I alway do as the romans Paul, and if I want something that bad there’s always a shop that’ll sell what I need… the only thing you need to bring is yourself… I’m sure we’ll have a crack…🍻👍🏼😎

Why not pick up the phone and talk to her and ask her straight, see what she says and get clarity🤷🏻‍♂️👍

Tried phoning on Friday. Got answering machine. Left message saying just checking she was alive as hadn't heard from her since tuesday . No answer, no reply .


So I've just left it since then. As I said my WhatsApp conversation shows she's been on the phone . It does that.

As I said ...its strange behaviour, and she ain't a youngster lol she's nearly 60

Apparently from reading your posts , she was doing her own thing in Portugal and Spain and only just coming to you for a visit, so maybe she has now visited and gone back to her own thing, if she is still ok and moving I wouldn't worry too much.
As you said she is a woman.

We’re a funny lot, but it is good to know someone (you) is looking out for her. Probably as everyone says, leave it for now and just wait to hear from her next. Just keep an eye on her WhatsApp to make sure she’s still using her phone

Enjoy your trip, maybe you’ll bump into her in a few days

Moved on to puerto de mazarron today. One of my favourite wee places, got one of my usual 2 parking spots by the sea . One other French motorhome here. My other spot was over run by Germans with all their bikes and other paraphernalia chained to the lampposts or lying on the pavement... so this spot is better this time.

Bit of bad luck that my crown/Bridge that fell out in France and I've since glued it back in several times has fallen out yet again and the bit of old tooth it was originally cemented to has now crumbled and fell out with it so that's now buggered and won't stay in now. Not even sure if a dentist will be able to save it I think I'd need a post fitted or something. My teeth are a bloody mess just now.. . So I want to try seeing an English speaking dentist to see if I can get a few fillings done and if anything can be done with this bridge as I've now a big unsightly gap at the front 😒

Blue skies and 20° again. Bit of a breeze but I can cope with that.

I've only used one of them, Clinica Dental Bahia. She's a good dentist and also gets good recommendations from others.
