Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

Be careful Paul… you won’t have enough payload or storage for what crap Tam can order off eBay in a week…😆🤣😂

Trust me I know….😳
Ha! He knows I only have a wee van so can't go too mad lol
Speaking of which I've just ordered my green card for Morocco from LV £63 quid for 3 months and that's fully comp, breakdown cover, protected no claims etc, just everything that's on the existing policy as it is now, but I've heard folk on here saying they can't get full green card insurance for Morocco either 3rd party only or a complete refusal but mine was no problem, having said that I've a lot of stuff insured through them so maybe their feared I'll go elsewhere! 🤣

Here you go Tam get one of these.

Just to remind yourself.
But seriously if I did that to my van I would be apoplectic. Probably give myself a heart attack.
Commiserations. Hope its an easy fix.

I don't need anything off ebay ....well not urgently, I'd like a set of those number plate surrounds that the plate slides in to so you don't have to screw the plate. And the front one on this has been fitted in the wrong place. Also the plates I have advertise that Gareths business so I want to change them .

I want a set of Scotland plates in 4d but I can wait till I'm back in the UK.

Only thing I'd like you to bring me over Paul is some cheese and perhaps a couple of jars of kenco coffee. We all have our wee guilty pleasures with foodstuffs we are accustomed to. 😁

No problem Tam I'll see what you need closer to the time,
Wonder has Garry run out of HP sauce yet 🤣

Tam kenco coffee and red Leicester cheese available from overseas supermarkets (also known as Iceland) several branches in Alicante/Murcia provinces or Tesco's in quesada inland from torrevieja.
Won't be cheap though.

Hence getting it in UK when opportunities arise ...otherwise I'd just buy alternatives like I'm doing now lol.

Had a very similar crease on our Burstner A747 about 15yrs ago. Tree damage.
These guys sorted it, you would never have noticed.

We have absolutely fantastic cheese here, just saying ;)
Have you tried some?
I don't like strong flavoured cheese , crumbly cheese or rubbery cheese .

Which would you recommend.

Then I would recommend two that are being sold in Mercadona:
"Queso de Arzúa". It's cow cheese with a soft and creamy texture, thin crust and it's flavour is milky and slightly sweet.

"Queso de tetilla". Also cow cheese, creamy and unctuous texture, it is a cheese with a smooth flavor and tit shaped.

Get some Stilton down you it’s the best
Next time try some hot polenta, and drop some stilton on it. Let it melt then eat it.
Same for goats or sheep cheese, sheep cheese you find in eastern Europe and is much stronger than stilton danish blue, roquefort gorgonzola etc.

I have to disagree with you there. But sure you must have great goat cheese there maybe? And white wine is fantastic too.
The white wine from Lanzarote is very good. I'm more a red wine drinker myself, so Ribera del Duero. However, the Canary Island cheeses are some of the best in the world, recognised year after year. The problem is the reduced production means that if you have not been to the Canary Islands you probably have not tasted it. I spent 2 months in the van on our Spanish raid and did not find a cheese that comes even close to the Canarian cheeses, please believe me.

Nah, it'll be French mustard mayonnaise ... you'll need to do some shopping in France for him! :giggle:

Red Leicester is the UK's version of rubbery cheese!

Oh I love Canarias, I've been a few times there (just sadly not in La Palma nor El Hierro nor Fuerteventura), but never tried cheese there, and didn't know about the quality and the offer, so we have to go back and I'll look for queso Majorero, because looks great 😀
Thanks for the information, Barrie.
Every day is a school day☝️
(Sorry for the little diversion, Tam)

You know it makes sense Nacho, you'll not regret it 😀

That's all my Mum used to buy when I was a kid ... I progressed to Cheddar as an adult but for nostalgia sake tried some Red Leicester a few years ago ... rubbery and tasteless ... my pencil eraser probably has more taste and substance!
