Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

Yes but not tearing off to somewhere you don't like just to miss more than three months of it.
England isn't motorhome friendly

Even Scotland is going the same way ...I don't like the cold, so if you think I'm miserable now you should see me when I also have S.A.D .

You maybe like the run up to Christmas I absolutely hate it ... whenever it starts to get dark early and grey skies I want out of it

I'm struggling today , I dint think I've slept more than 2 or 3 hours for well over a week now, I've also now got a cold , my lips are split to hell and I feel like I've a ratchet strap round my chest .

Drove up to agadir and I can't remember half of it as I think I was on autopilot

So apologies, you might not get much out of me today .

Know you don't do FB Tam, that's why I let you know 😀
Then admittedly it goes downhill fast, but as I said only for two months, then it comes to march and all the hedges and flowers breaking out ready for the best time of the year, spring, why would anyone not like spring in England.
WEEDS chaser bl**dy weeds, and with all this odd weather, they have started early 🤣

That's me too Tam, have always made the most of Christmas for the family, a few birthdays round then too, but by choice would go away then.
I do use an SAD lamp, thanks JockandRita and it is really helping. Hunker down where you are get some chicken soup down you, hug those dugs and let the sun shine in.
Hope you feel better soon :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

A couple of days rest and a few hot whiskeys will help.
Bushmills of course. None of that Scottish stuff.:giggle:

I'm still not sure how that works to be honest. I am a permanent resident in Spain and married to a Spanish national, but have retained my British nationality. So the way I see it is I can be in any European country for as long as I wish, and the UK also seeing as I am British, and my wife can also stay with me. Am I wrong in assuming this?

Barrie

Permanent resident does not get round the 90 day rule, but being married to a Spanixh National does all the time you are travelling together but if you are alone the 90 day rule applies. Of course you can go to UK as often and as long as you like. I do not know the rules about how long your wife can stay without applying further.

Drink Honey and Lemon and try and get some rest you have had a unpleasant week but hopefully things back on track now you need to look after yourself.

About Shell Island I know it very well and to be honest I don't think it would suit you lovely in the week when the children are
in school but weekends and holidays full with lots of people's and noise they charge quite a lot for each dog camping so it's not really a dog friendly place, it's in a beautiful setting and can be like heaven on earth but quite often very very hectic, if you Google it it will come up.
Hope you get a rest and some sleep.

Ok, makes sense. Also my wife, while travelling with me, can stay as long as she likes in the UK. Thanks nicholsong.

I think these rules are not always entirely symmetrical.

A foreign spouse of a UK national isn't for instance allowed to live in the UK without further ado. There are UK-specific rules that apply and it's worth ensuring that you know how they work.

Yes, you may well be right, but either way we will not be staying in the UK for any great length of time, so won't affect us. Having said that, there is an agreement between the UK and Spain in regards to respecting the 'grandfather rights' we had before Bre*it.
