Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

My free spot in carcassonne, they are few and far between but this wee hideyhole is just 200metres past the €20 a day aire that has no services . 10 minutes walk to the city .

I have hansel and greta from Sweden for company lol View attachment 977673View attachment 977674

I've got P4N unpaid version and I don't see that, are you on paid version as there's been a few on Barriesimpson thread i can't see?

Pizza in Italy is the best you can get, & pretty good in France & Spain, in the UK they are Americanised with thick horrible bases.

Not if you make them yourself for about about a quarter of the normal cost, it's so easy. All I use is a cast iron griddle plate and a grill.

Heat the homemade base on the plate while adding toppings and then under the grill, Simples!

PS. The fresh dough will keep in the fridge for quite a few days and can also be used for Pitta's. 👍

I thought you'd been here and gone . Weather doesn't look to bad here the next couple of days . Bit rain overnight tonight but looks dry tomorrow from noon

Will be getting in around lunchtime and into the main town for a lookise then up to where you are for the night so then into the medieval village Thursday when it forecasts a nice sunny day…☀️😎

I think you need to give us a recipe for the dough 🙂

I think you need to give us a recipe for the dough 🙂

What I use, is
1 cup of warm water
1 sachet of active dry yeast
2 - 3 cups of plain flour
2tsp salt
and the most important
2tsp of OLIVE OIL.

Mix in warm bowl until a slightly wet dough that leaves the bowl walls.
Turn out and clean bowl, dry and pour in a SMALL amount of olive oil , enough to make sure ball of dough is covered, then cover with dish cloth and keep in warm place until doubled.(about 2 hours)

Knock back and cut into 4.
Roll into thin circles that can be used for Pizza base or Pitta bread.

It will take a bit of practice, probably as a beginner, on a warm day or in a kitchen, but believe me, it's worth it! 👍

Later, you can use some herbs or spices in the mix and cheese & apple or fresh chopped up salad in a Pitta is fantastic!

EDIT. When I say dough ball is covered on return to bowl, I don't mean a bowl FULL of olive oil, just a smear over it.

It just tried to bring me under a 2.5m bridge yet again
Tam, are you using the maps on the unit's main memory, or the maps I provided on the SD Card? If the former, then the units were sent out mis-sold as Truck Sat Navs, ie, without "the all important" .ftr Truck files.

Now if that was mine it would continue along the a27 past Brighton then back to the coast and out to sea ... it then brings me in like I was a sea plane and over the field behind lennys House.

Even as I turn in to his street it is still quoting 57minutes and telling me to turn around where possible .
Mine doesn't, using the same maps I updated for you..

Try putting my post code into your and see haw it routes the last 20 miles.
BN15 8JZ.
Just did as a Truck at 6.85T and 3.3M high...........................and case proven your honour. 🤷‍♂️

Driving as a solo traveller it's always a bit more hassle if you get a diversion etc. If you've a passenger they can quickly check for a detour . I can't do that whilst driving and unless there's somewhere to pull in which often there isn't for miles it can be a right ballache
You're assuming the passenger can use and read a map effectively. Many cannot - mine among them.

Well you could save at least 75kg payload there then.
Aye, what's the use of the non driver if they can't read a map.

Hey, wait, I'm the non driver usually, but thankfully I can read a map and frequently tell the wife/driver to ignore the sat nav and give the directions instead. Usually works out better, but if it doesn't I get grief.

I suspect Jade's map reading skills are quite good but she has communication issues as the driver doesn't speak dog.
Milo can't see over the dashboard
Ela is asleep
Blu is 'are we going somewhere'?
