Yes, you are of course correct. I should have remembered as I still have the scars! That'd be the brake master cylinder. The clutch was rod operated.

I've come across many, especially at night, where the 'deviation' sign is the first & only one ever seen. I have only ever had one deviation that had further signs & actually brought you out farther down the road blocked off.Really? Come across many Route Barre signs but always have a deviation. Only thing I find they don't do is update you at every junction.
Totally correct. And it sends you on some weird, unfathomable deviations away from direct, main roads.Google doesn't know about height, weight, width restrictions.
That is a puzzleYou won’t believe how heavy it was.
Ian
The case. The case that I rested; it was heavy. That is a puzzle
As I said they don't update you . That is unless you have to take a right or left .I've come across many, especially at night, where the 'deviation' sign is the first & only one ever seen. I have only ever had one deviation that had further signs & actually brought you out farther down the road blocked off.
As much as I loathe to come back to this lenny. With this post you've just proved my point .You don't appear to understand the business model.
e.g. If it cost the company say £10 to manufacture a part and they sell it for £30 to cover cost/profit/development etc. It is then sold to a distributor who in France because of the high employment cost puts an 80% mark up on it selling to a wholesaler who puts a similar mark up on, it is then sold to the final purchaser, so final price is £97.2 +VAT = £116.64
Now if the same item is sold in the UK, distributors & wholesalers often work on 50% (as employment costs are less) so the final price would be £67.50 +VAT = £81.
Tam I was only trying to explain why it is dearer in France figures we just guesswork. As much as I loathe to come back to this lenny. With this post you've just proved my point .
I CAN currently buy it in the UK for £81
But can't buy it in France for £116
The cheapest was £165 which is way more than the 80% mark up times 2 that you quoted , and iveco wanted even more again ..nearly £230
As I said
Taking the piss.
Any road it's done now , had no choice
Ebay rubbing the salt in sends me a notification this morning " item discounted by £8 plus a further 10% off lol
Barstewards
Would cost £75 now in UK

Then there is the eye watering 75% employers national insurance chargebut UK business pay about 20% tax on profit in France it's around 40% that money has got to come from somewhere.

Lots of German school kids when I was there .Well I've had me visit... no dogs allowed so I had to walk round on my own , busy place but I suppose it is a Saturday.
Few brits there but mostly French, decided I didn't want to stay there so moved just 10km south to Saint victurnian and a nice wee one van spot on the river . Which Is a bit cheerier.
Just having a brew and going through me photos
Fabulous pictures and it is so quiet. Makes a nice difference.Decided to have a walk up to the chateau after all as we were nearly there when walking dogs .. I forgot it doesn't get dark as early here either .. we've been and back and it's still light .

Yes, a sobering experience, horrifying what humans can do to one another. I think everyone should visit if they can.I've been I've saw but I've no desire to return
How did you get in then? When we went entrance to the village was only through the memorial centre & the tunnel under the road?I didn't go in to the memorial visitor centre ,
I think the following might suggest that he snuck in the rear entrance? How did you get in then?
