Thats consistent with the Highbridge info. Getting the engine chassis unit to Chausson is a major plus. Guessing it's a Ford base, do you know where it's made?
Windows!!! I assumed the delays were more technical than that like looms and micro chips but windows does surprise me! However that does ring true with what Highbridge told me posted above that some built vans are stalled for want of certain components. Windows however never crossed my mind!

It does come in the original first choice colour of metallic paint but at least it is coming now after original delivery date of September 2021

Dealer has just phoned to say our van is now on the ferry and due at their premises on Monday 4th July, 2 days early! So excited I won’t be able to sleep between now and going to view it next Thursday. We’ll then find out exactly what it has ended up being fitted with and what they couldn’t get I suppose.

Well if the French Market is saturated with stock that might be a good thing for the UK market!
That’s interesting, I am making the assumption that the windows missing are the motorhome windows rather than the vehicle windows, but that is an assumption. we called into see the dealer last week and they did offer us a cancelled order but we would have regretted it in the long term. So we are waiting for the van we ordered.
Yes forget who posted but it was the MH constructors having difficulty getting window s for the conversion rather than windscreens per se. Could be both of course!

Yes you have had a very long wait and our wait is going to be over 12 months; as with many things the not knowing prevents any form of planning. Until I get something definitive from my dealer I ain't booking anything! Having said that if the delay results in the money housed in Premium Bonds winning the big one my planning will take a completely different course!I think it was me

. The dealer is chuffed it is definitely on the new 22 chassis with electric brake, wireless phone charging and the new alloy wheels. He said the subtle front end changes look really good in the flesh and getting our original choice of paint colour makes for a stunning vehicle. He got 2 Twins in this time with some more expected fairly soon
