A photo of the outside from Inside

Nellie and Tom "just chillin in the van" and watching the lights at Malvern, we are not allowed to sit on the dashboard when Martin and Jen are in so we are making the most of it ;) don't tell.

How do you pay for the P4night, aires, etc? Are there machines that take cash and credit cards or is it all done online?
Also, do you ever see a parking warden?
I ask these naive questions as I’ve never used these facilities and we don’t have them in NZ.

P4N is an app that shows the stop over places. Can't remember if you need to pay for that particular one but if you do it's paid for wherever you download your apps from.

As for actually paying to park in Aires etc it gets a bit more complicated as all places are different. A lot these days have a barrier machine that'll take card or coins, some will have somebody come around in the morning to collect payment for the previous night, some may have an honesty box and some are online.

If you want to park at Loch lomond for example you can book a spot online and pay the couple of quid. They'll log your reg number and I guess someone may go around checking you have paid to be there.

The last one was just a space next to the waters edge. No facilities, no warden, just a nice free parking place with no restrictions to park up. Town was 300m walk away.

Enjoy Brian & Joyce. (y)

If we had known, we'd gladly have joined you both. :(

Cheers,

Jock & Rita. :)
That would have been great Jock so we shall have to do it another time. This was a spur of the moment idea before Cheryl closes for the winter and lucky to get a pitch.
