I may have cheated a little as this was taken outside not in. Parked up in a little 'layby' (illegal in Italy I believe?) as the official car park up the road charges 25 euros with no facilities. 2 Italians, 1 french, I German and 1 Spaniard has joined us. Dolomites in Italy (except everyone speaks German ) just 3 miles from Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee).

Yes. He charges €15 per night.
Fresh water plus grey and black waste disposal included.
In the summer he can have up to 160 motorhomes in the field.

Parked up for the night as per earlier post then a lovely walk around the arboretum and a coffee in the Shepherds Baa. Nice clean toilet and hot water and somewhere to dump the dumps

Start of an impromptu three day camper-van and mountain bike mini tour of Lancashire and North Yorks. Just completed the rather gruelling red route in Grisburn forest. Back at the van at Marl Barn just outside the forest with a well needed beer.

Carrying on with my mini-tour, now at Settle. So nice when you get overnight, town centre motorhome only parking for a fiver.

Now off to find pub and chippy to put back on all those calories I’ve burnt today on the bike.

And, btw, describing the 10 mile Settle Mountain Bike Loop as ‘moderate’ is somewhat understating it. Must have been classified by some superhuman. Nice view from the top though.

This place used to be a hidden gem!

I remember DavidG58 having a birthday bash there in the depths of Winter a few years ago!

I suspect that this site will become more popular now as we drove by a few days ago and noticed they had put up a new sign ' Newton Farm Campsite' whereas it was always known as Newton Farm, (or David G's Special place. )

It is a really nice place!
