Sunflowers in October!!!
My grandson bought me a packet of sunflower seeds for my birthday from baby great granddaughter.
I only planted them at the end of June so never expected them to grow let alone flower.

Must have been Joy they were to remind me of little great granddaughter who lives 185 miles away so we don’t see her very often not seen her since June when they came to wales for our wedding.

Yes it’s €10.44. The road past the aire has a height barrier.

Spent the night on the beach near Gioia Taura Southern Italy. A typical dead, out if season holiday resort.

Why do cars drive past us at 4 in the morning? What are they up to? Do they not have beds?

Just about to set off down to get the ferry to Sicily. Weather forecast a bit rainy/cloudy. Will have to delay our visit up Etna for a few days.

It's just a pull-in off the road immediately before the bridge over the lake.

I wouldn't recommend it though. About an hour later at another parking area a couple of miles further along the lake (next to the tourist info office) someone forced a hab window open while we had left it parked for about 5 minutes. Looking at the comments on Park4Night it seems that break-ins and thefts from motorhomes around the lake are not uncommon.

You might need some knobbly tyres on that bike to get to the top.

2. I walked up. Surprisingly the castle thingy you see there is nowhere near the top!

Eating grass in the New Forest can be tiring so it was so kind of the white one to give the other one a piggy back

Did a double take today when I took a quick photo this afternoon of a gull standing on the bonnet of a car....

Because this is how the image showed on the phone....

Look at the shadows as they show the sun was behind the camera, so, what was the huge fireball in the sky???

After a bit of headscratching, we figured it out...

The MH window was shut and the flash had activated on the camera
